Liu Yunxi was a mortal woman of the Barren Continent's Northern Region when Ye Xuan found her after being stripped of his Immortal Body and sent to the Lower Realm. He presented himself as a crippled mortal and remained at her side for three years. During that period, a Peach Wood Talisman paired with Ye Xuan's own talisman nourished her talent, helping her awaken the Flowing Cloud Treasure Body. The Azure Mist Sect then took her in as the Sect Master's personal disciple and elevated her to Saintess. 1

Her relationship with Ye Xuan ended on the day scheduled for their wedding. She publicly declared her engagement to Azure Mist Sect Holy Son Xiao Chengfeng and severed all ties with Ye Xuan, judging his lost cultivation and mortal status incompatible with her ambitions. She openly stated that Xiao Chengfeng's talent and status offered a path toward the Imperial Dynasty, Holy Lands, and eventual ascension. 1 2
