Background / History

Little Sable was once a Heavenly Demonic Sable at the peak of the Death Profound Realm. After losing his strength, he survived as a demonic spirit concealed within Lin Dong's Stone Talisman. He secretly absorbed the Fire Ancestor Demonic Flower's power, claiming that doing so had prevented Lin Dong from being destroyed by its violent spiritual energy. Lin Dong and Lin Mu initially considered absorbing him to increase Lin Dong's Spiritual Power, forcing him to prove his usefulness instead. 23

He explains that the Stone Talisman possesses an unusual attraction even to powerful beings. Although initially wary of Lin Mu and Lin Dong, he remains with them because of his knowledge, his need to recover, and the danger of being alone as a weakened spirit. 23 25

Little Sable eventually learns of the Life and Death Reincarnation Pill, an item capable of helping him resurrect. Lin Dong secures the pill and delays its use until after contending for the Four Great Xuan Sects' inheritance. 100 121

At Qing Zhi's Pill River, Little Sable consumes the Life and Death Reincarnation Pill and enters a black cocoon to reconstruct his body. The process requires enormous quantities of Life-and-Death energy and Nirvana Qi, lasting four months before he emerges in his true Heavenly Demonic Sable form. 124 125

Little Sable has three documented forms: a small demonic spirit, a colossal Heavenly Demonic Sable, and a human guise. 23 125 126

Personality

Little Sable is arrogant, proud of both his lineage and strength, and insists on being addressed as “Master Sable.” He bristles at mockery from Lin Mu and Lin Dong, particularly when they tease him about his appearance or demand that he call Lin Mu “Big Brother.” 23 25 126 127

His pride does not prevent him from recognizing danger. While weakened, he hides from outsiders and becomes noticeably cautious when Lin Dong and Lin Mu threaten to absorb him. 23

Despite his boastful manner, he grows fiercely loyal to his companions. He helps Lin Dong throughout their travels, leaves behind a Demonic Spirit imprint so Lin Dong can contact him after departing, and later acknowledges Lin Mu as his big brother when Lin Mu stands against the Yuan Sect to protect him. 125 158 219
