Background

Lin Dong is the younger son of Lin Xiao and Liu Yan, and Lin Mu's younger brother. When Lin Mu awakens in the family, Lin Dong has recently been injured by Lin Shan during a clan dispute. The insult directed at his crippled father drives him to cultivate diligently and seek strength rather than rely on empty threats. 1

He discovers the Stone Talisman and uses its Spirit Liquid and spiritual reflection to accelerate his cultivation and martial training. His early progress allows him to defeat Lin Shan, then confront stronger relatives such as Lin Hong. 4 5
