Background & History

Qian Renxue is the daughter of Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji, as well as Qian Daoliu's granddaughter. Her relationship with Bibi Dong was profoundly strained from childhood; Qian Renxue spent years longing for even a small sign of maternal affection while carrying the memory of Bibi Dong telling her that she should never have existed 146 278.

Using a special Spirit Bone, she assumed the identity of Heaven Dou Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. The disguise conceals her appearance, Martial Soul, and Soul Power fluctuations, allowing her to maintain a long-term infiltration of the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace 52 117. By the time Ji Wushuang enters her life, she has spent years clearing rivals from the line of succession and waiting for the chance to claim the throne 147.

Her first interest in Ji Wushuang comes from Qian Daoliu's praise and her desire to see whether Bibi Dong's prized disciple is truly exceptional. She initially regards reports of his actions with scorn, but her curiosity grows into trust and affection after they meet in Star Luo City 52 120 145.

Qian Renxue's true appearance strongly resembles Bibi Dong's, sharing her violet eyes and a similar facial structure. She has long golden hair, a tall and slender figure, and a poised bearing befitting both a Spirit Hall heir and an emperor 52 145.

Qian Renxue is proud, sharp-tongued, and highly conscious of her own status and talent. She initially responds to Ji Wushuang's attention with suspicion or disdain, but her composure is easily unsettled when he calls her “Sister Xue” or “Xue'er” 122 136. Her guarded behavior masks a strong desire to be accepted as herself rather than as the fabricated Crown Prince Xue Qinghe 137 147.

She is also politically patient and deliberate. Rather than seize power through open rebellion, she insists on receiving the Heaven Dou throne through a legitimate succession, even while preparing ruthless contingencies against Xue Ye and Xue Xing 122 147. Once she decides to act, she is willing to use poison, deception, and control of public opinion to secure her rule 171 173.

Qian Renxue's initial plan is to inherit Heaven Dou through Xue Qinghe after removing the competing princes. When Ji Wushuang joins her in Heaven Dou City, he proposes accelerating the plan: worsen Xue Ye's illness, frame Xue Beng and Xue Xing for a palace takeover, then have Xue Qinghe publicly “rescue” the emperor and inherit the throne with public support 147 171.

She begins the operation by having Cold Marrow Flower powder mixed into Xue Ye's medicine, carefully controlling the dose so imperial physicians mistake the poisoning for a worsening illness 173. The plan succeeds, and Qian Renxue becomes the emperor of Heaven Dou, no longer confined to the role of Crown Prince 175.

After taking the throne, she increasingly appears in her true form rather than living permanently as Xue Qinghe 202 245.

Angel God Trials

After speaking frankly with Bibi Dong and learning the truth about her past, Qian Renxue returns to Spirit City to seek the Angel God's inheritance 278 279. Qian Daoliu recognizes her readiness and initiates the Angel God's Nine Trials in Douluo Hall 279.
