Childhood and the Heaven Dou Mission

Qian Renxue grew up longing for affection from Bibi Dong, whose rejection left lasting emotional wounds. Her mother’s statement that she “should never have existed” became the source of recurring nightmares. Qian Renxue nevertheless admired her father, Qian Xunji, without knowing the truth about his treatment of Bibi Dong 147 283.

At ten years old, she went to Heaven Dou City to begin infiltrating the imperial family as Xue Qinghe. Her objective was to bring the empire under Spirit Hall’s control through succession rather than direct military conquest. Fifteen years into the mission, she had returned to Spirit City only a handful of times 112 283.

The assignment demanded constant caution, state administration, and prolonged use of another person’s appearance. Although her disguise and intelligence helped the operation proceed smoothly, it delayed her cultivation and left her increasingly bored with her borrowed life 53 98 118.

Meeting Ji Wushuang

Qian Renxue first became interested in Ji Wushuang through Qian Daoliu’s unusually high praise of him. She wanted to test his ability and later traveled to the Star Luo Empire with Ning Fengzhi for his Number One Martial Arts Tournament Under Heaven 53 98.

In Star Luo City, Ji Wushuang brought her a Heavenly Heart Lotus presented as Bibi Dong’s gift. The apparent gesture of maternal concern moved her to tears. At his prompting, she gave him a golden hairpin to pass to her mother, beginning his efforts to mediate between them 121 122.

Their relationship deepened during a Spirit Beast hunt in the Star Dou Great Forest. Qian Renxue obtained her sixth Spirit Ring and third-eye External Soul Bone, then disclosed their abilities to Ji Wushuang without reservation. Taking Control of Heaven Dou

Ji Wushuang proposed accelerating her accession by worsening Xue Ye’s illness, staging a takeover attributed to Xue Beng and Prince Xue Xing, and having “Xue Qinghe” publicly rescue the emperor. She agreed to prepare the operation; by his departure, she held the position of emperor 172 177.

She later confirmed that she had secured control of the empire. Her authority over the palace eventually allowed her to remain in her true appearance in private, using Xue Qinghe’s identity mainly when leaving or when circumstances required it 198 248.

Despite their separation, she and Ji Wushuang preserved each other’s letters. When he returned after two and a half years, her initial refusal to receive him gave way to tears and reconciliation 197.

Family Revelations and Divine Trials

Ji Wushuang continued trying to repair Qian Renxue’s relationship with Bibi Dong. During one visit, Bibi Dong watched her daughter from a distance but was afraid to approach; Ji Wushuang arranged for the elders to report the visit and present a Whale Pearl as her gift 232.

Their decisive conversation took place in the Pope’s Palace. Bibi Dong finally explained her past with Qian Xunji, destroying Qian Renxue’s idealized image of her father. Qian Renxue broke down and questioned why she had been kept ignorant for so long 283.

Ascension, Marriage, and Reunion

Qian Renxue became the Angel God, but her immediate response was grief over Qian Daoliu’s sacrifice rather than joy. Bibi Dong embraced her and remained beside her through the night, resolving to make up for her past failures as a mother 380 381.

She later joined Bibi Dong in investigating Ji Wushuang’s disappearance after a heavenly tribulation, recovering Tian Meng’s surviving soul and a powerful torso bone from the frozen battlefield. She also eventually learned that Ji Wushuang’s romantic relationship with Bibi Dong had begun during the first Star Luo tournament, much earlier than she had realized 396 450 451.

Qian Renxue became one of Ji Wushuang’s wives and was identified as the leading bride during the wedding preparations. Bibi Dong was also a bride, and Qian Renxue addressed her as “Sister” 410 411.

At the wedding, Qian Daoliu returned from the Divine Realm. He explained that the Angel God had brought him there after his sacrifice and that he had reached Rank 100 as an Angel God Official. Qian Renxue tearfully reunited with him and apologized that Spirit Hall was gone; he reassured her that she need not feel guilty 411 465.

Qian Renxue is proud, competitive, and confident in the Six-Winged Angel’s potential. Her curiosity is also analytical: she questions how parents capable of passing down his extraordinary Martial Souls could supposedly have been ordinary people killed by Fallen Spirit Masters 98 131.

Her experience as an infiltrator makes her cautious about exposure and skeptical of simplistic political schemes. When Ji Wushuang proposes copying her approach in Star Luo, she immediately challenges his lack of comparable disguises, resources, and ways to recover lost cultivation time 122.

In private, her haughty manner often conceals embarrassment and affection. She is easily flustered by Ji Wushuang’s teasing, becomes jealous of other women, and sometimes expresses hurt through scolding or biting rather than direct admission.
