Skye had seen experimental soldiers injected with the Extremis Virus, whose bodies emitted temperatures of thousands of degrees and whose strength was like that of Superman.

These soldiers, known as Extremis Virus test subjects, are very strong.

Two Extremis Soldier working together can hold their own against Abomination, and three Extremis Soldier can even render Abomination helpless.

However, their shortcomings are equally obvious.

First of all, like the Abomination, they are purely melee fighters and have no ranged attack capabilities.
