Biscuit and the others looked up too, full of curiosity. They genuinely wanted to see it.

But the canopy seemed to be far too high, completely above the clouds. They couldn't see it at all.

It lay beyond the limits of their vision, hidden behind layer upon layer of clouds. They couldn't even sense much change in the air.

"Did you send your En up to look?"

Men Qi asked curiously.

Kevin shook his head. "It can't go that high. There's a limit to how far I can raise it."

As for why, Kevin had no interest in finding out.

"Even the little shoots extending from its outermost branches give off enough power to fill the surrounding area with life."

Biscuit crouched and scooped up some sand and soil.

The soil here was essentially no different from that of the barren Gobi beside it. There shouldn't have been any greenery here either.
