The Fallen Playboy (4th Update)
"Which way should we go?" Robet looked at the map after setting off. Last time he went to the Arctic and witnessed the natural scenery of ice and snow. This time, Robet wanted to take a different route and experience the desert scenery of this world. He had seen tornadoes, but he had never seen a sandstorm.
Robet's speculation was that the diverse environments of nature could provide him with some inspiration and help him better understand Qi. After all, Qi itself exists in all things in the universe, and seeing more different natural landscapes would always be beneficial. Even if it couldn't improve his combat power in the short term, it could still lay a good foundation for Robet.
As Robet headed towards the desert, there was an Extremist Organization's base somewhere in the desert, and deep in the caves of that base, a notorious playboy was being held captive.
This man is named Tony Stark, the chairman of Stark Industries, a world-renowned top arms dealer, and one of the world's richest people.
Unfortunately, Tony Stark is in a very bad situation right now. He was attacked and kidnapped by Extremist Organization while he was in the Middle East selling weapons. Ironically, the weapon that injured him was one manufactured by his own company!
During that attack, Tony Stark was hit in the chest by shrapnel and was in critical condition. In order to survive, with the help of physicist Yinsen, who was also imprisoned there, Tony Stark built Arc Reactor in the rudimentary environment to prevent the shrapnel from entering his heart and successfully survived.
But now, Tony Stark faces a completely new problem: how to escape from the gunfire of the Extremist Organization...
Ultimately, Tony Stark decided to forge a suit of armor as his weapon, capable of withstanding a hail of bullets and also turning the tables on members of Extremist Organization!
Since the members of those Extremist Organization were mostly illiterate with little formal education, Tony Stark easily fooled them by offering to help them manufacture weapons...
On the other side, Robet's speed wasn't too fast, but it was comparable to that of a vehicle, since the desert environment didn't significantly affect Robet's speed.
"It looks like the sun is blazing down, and there's no sign of a breeze. I wonder if we'll encounter a sandstorm..." Robet muttered to himself, looking around at the endless desert.
Robet discovered that as his strength continued to improve, he developed some new abilities he hadn't had before. His vision and hearing range also seemed to be expanding. Although he hadn't awakened any strange X-ray vision, he could definitely see and hear farther than before...
"The Transformation Technique awakened on its own, but it was something I mastered after my strength reached a certain level. Telekinesis was gained through the improvement of my mental power. In other words, as my combat power or other aspects of my strength improve, I will master some abilities that do not belong to Saiyan? Is this the ultimate potential that Shenron bestowed upon me? Then I should work even harder to improve myself in all aspects..." Robet silently analyzed as he moved forward.
"And now my hearing and eyesight are showing signs of improvement. Could it be that I'm about to gain farsightedness and super hearing similar to Piccolo? Then, can I create things out of thin air like Piccolo? Hmm, the Transformation Technique suit is actually a kind of creation out of thin air too..."
"Then can I regenerate limbs? After all, my super regenerative abilities didn't include limb regeneration. I only recovered after eating Senzu Bean when I lost my hand... Hmm?"
Robet was muttering to himself when he suddenly heard a faint, noisy sound. Robet instinctively looked in the direction of the sound. Although Robet couldn't see anything, Robet could sense a considerable amount of energy coming from that direction.
Meanwhile, on the other side Robet sensed, several men with guns were fighting over a bag of grain. A woman was crying and screaming as she clung tightly to the bag of grain, showing no intention of letting go even in the face of the threat of guns.
That was the only bag of grain her family had left. If it were taken away, it would be no different from death for her. In this kind of world and environment, no one would be willing to help her after losing her food...
"Get out of my way! You stupid bastard!" The man with the gun was clearly enraged by the woman. He first kicked her to the ground, then aimed his gun at her and pulled the trigger.
"Bang!"
"Save her! Robet!" Clark's anxious voice rang in Robet's mind, just as Robet witnessed the scene.
With a "whoosh!" Robet's figure vanished from the spot, and the next moment he appeared in front of the woman with a calm expression, catching the bullet with a wave of his hand.
"What the hell?!"
Robet's sudden appearance startled the armed men, who immediately pointed their weapons at him Robet, "Who are you?"
"Snap!"
Robet released his grip, and a bullet fell to the ground, stunning the armed men in front of him. But they reacted quickly, and after regaining their senses, they kept pulling the trigger, bullets raining down on Robet.
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
"Whoosh!"
Robet's hands moved like a blur, precisely catching each bullet. He then flicked his fingers a few times, and the bullets accurately struck and pierced the heads of the gunmen. The next moment, they all fell to the ground, blood flowing out, and they lost all life.
"Ah! Murder!"
"Monster!"
"Devil!"
Terrified screams erupted around them, and onlookers scattered in panic. Robet turned to look at the woman, but before Robet could say anything, she screamed in terror, not daring to look at Robet. She first threw herself on the ground, picked up the bag of grain, and then ran to the side, hiding inside the house and closing the door tightly.
"Are you alright, Robet...?" Clark asked with some concern as he saw Robet fall silent.
"I'm fine, I can hold onto the bullets, what could possibly happen to me?" Robet threw the remaining bullets on the ground and looked at the corpses of the men with guns. "However, I'm thinking of eliminating them completely now. Clark, you won't disagree, will you?"
"This..." Clark's voice held a hint of hesitation upon hearing this.
"Clark, remember I said I would save those I approve of, help those you want me to help, and kill those who oppose me..." Robet shrugged and smiled, "Killing these guys might not make life better for the people here, but at least it won't make it worse. They might even be able to enjoy a few days of peace. In that sense, I'm helping them on your behalf..."
"You have your own opinions, and you can decide some things yourself. I won't interfere..." Clark sighed softly after a long pause, "But remember one thing: don't kill innocent people indiscriminately!"
"Don't worry, it's really hard to find an innocent person among these guys!" Robet said with a slight smile.
