Fishing Master Robet
"I didn't expect you to already know about the gap in Earth Dimension. You're quite well-informed..." Diana glanced at Robet with some surprise, then said with a hint of regret.
"I'm talking about that guy from earlier. Actually, he wasn't this strong at first. If you had spotted him the first time he appeared, your attack should have killed him instantly..."
"Unfortunately, as time went by, this Demon devoured some of his companions and grew stronger and stronger. In particular, his abilities made it very difficult for me to find him, so I wanted to try and find you, especially since you haven't been here for quite some time!"
Perhaps because she hadn't seen Robet for a long time, Diana was noticeably more talkative, and her voice carried a hint of dissatisfaction. Diana naturally remembered that Robet was still a student, but being a student didn't mean Robet had no free time at all.
Moreover, given the speed Robet has demonstrated, finding her wouldn't be difficult, and it wouldn't even take too long!
"By the way, did you deal with the Fire Demon? Hmm? Wait a minute!" Diana, who was speaking to Robet, suddenly remembered something and looked at Robet hesitantly, asking, "You didn't kill the Fire Demon, did you?"
"Yeah, that guy is really troublesome. He's almost immortal. No matter how much I try to kill him, I can't. In the end, I can only try to seal him away..." Robet shrugged and said helplessly.
"But unexpectedly, this guy was so unyielding, preferring death to being sealed. In the end, he chose to self-destruct, blowing up all Twelve Talismans and his body, and his soul escaped back to hell!"
"Now I understand why there's a gap in Earth Dimension!" Diana said softly, glancing at Robet.
"Huh?" Robet's eyes widened instantly, and he hesitated for a moment before saying, "You're not saying that this has anything to do with me, are you?"
"As I said before, the Fire Demon is one of the eight evil forces in the world, which means that he himself is part of the power of Earth's rules!" Diana shook her head and explained.
"Therefore, Demon like them are very difficult to kill, and they also need to maintain contact with Earth. If none of the eight Demon are on Earth, it means that there are some loopholes in Earth's rules, resulting in a gap in Earth Dimension..."
"..." Robet paused for a moment upon hearing this, then scratched his face, realizing that it really was his fault.
No, how can this be his fault? The Eight Immortals sealed away the Eight Demon Sorcerers, and Liu Bei sealed away the Demon Sorcerer twice. Neither time was the Demon Sorcerer so fierce as to self-destruct!
Why did the Demon Sorcerer suddenly want to self-destruct when it was his turn? This mess should at least be shared equally among the Demon Sorcerer, the Eight Immortals, Liu Bei, and him!
"I didn't know he would self-destruct. Does that mean that if the gap in Earth Dimension continues, Demon will keep coming to Earth?" Robet's mind raced with thoughts, but he ultimately didn't voice the blame-shifting. Instead, he frowned and looked at Diana, asking her a question.
For Robet, the appearance of Demon on Earth wasn't necessarily a bad thing. At least Robet could meet some practice opponents and Peter Parker and the others could get used to fighting.
However, for ordinary people, and even for Clark, these endless streams of Demon are a great source of trouble.
Even at Clark's pace, he's been too busy to take care of his family lately, let alone the ordinary people who might have fallen victim to the Demon...
Moreover, Demon possess a myriad of abilities. Even Diana has encountered Demon that defy detection, which means just how dangerous it would be for ordinary people or other individuals with special abilities to encounter such Demon!
Robet didn't see himself as a savior of the world, but since the matter of Demon Sorcerer was related to him, Robet wanted to do what he could to make amends...
"This isn't your responsibility. Since it was the Demon Sorcerer who self-destructed, it's naturally his fault!" Diana looked at Robet and gently comforted him. "Besides, although the gap in Earth Dimension is difficult to fill, Earth Dimension itself has its own array. As long as Kamar-Taj can spare some manpower, it shouldn't be a problem to fill it a little..."
"Of course, a complete restoration is impossible, but the Earth Dimension was never perfect to begin with. You may not know this, but Demon from other dimensions used to frequently sneak into the Earth Dimension, just not as many as they are now!"
"Kamar-Taj?" Robet raised an eyebrow. What kind of organization was this? Did it have some powerful figures within it?
"Yes, Kamar-Taj is home to a group of mages from the Earth Dimension Guardian. They have been protecting the Earth Dimension's array for many years, preventing visitors from other dimensions," Diana nodded and said softly.
"Without the existence of Dimensional Array, not only would Demon of the current level come to Earth, but also more powerful Demon King, various lords, and even Dimensional Demon God might descend upon Earth Dimension."
"Even though the Earth Dimension itself suppresses powerful beings who transcend Earth Dimension limitations, those powerful beings still pose a significant threat to the Earth itself..."
"No wonder none of the Demon we've encountered so far have been particularly strong!" Robet nodded knowingly, then said seriously, "It seems I need to kill as many Demon as possible before that magician organization repairs the Dimensional Array!"
If Robet had heard Diana mention before that there was such a magical organization on Earth, Robet would definitely have wanted to go and see it. But now, Robet is focusing his attention on dealing with Demon.
"I've killed quite a few Demon lately. Although they're not very strong, their numbers are a real problem, especially the one that just escaped..." Diana also shifted the topic to the Demon themselves.
"He is indeed very peculiar. I didn't even have time to lock onto him before he escaped..." Robet pondered for a moment, then took out the Demon Curse from his shoe.
"???" Diana's beautiful face was full of question marks. She was confused by Robet's actions at first, but she quickly noticed that the piece of clothing in Robet's hand was not simple.
With a "whoosh!" sound, the sealed energy on the Demon Curse completely dissipated in the next moment. This was the first time Robet had not suppressed the energy within the Demon Curse after collecting a large number of Demon Curse.
As Robet's sealing energy dissipated, the entire Demon Curse exuded a strange, bloody stench and a terrifying aura, as if Robet's Demon Curse had mutated after being Demon Curse.
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
As this eerie aura spread, low growls echoed around, followed by crimson eyes lighting up in the darkness.
After stacking a bunch of Demon Curse, this Demon Curse successfully made Robet the most Abomination object of Demon. At least, the lower-level Demon couldn't escape its influence, which gave Robet a very good way to gather monsters together...
This might be because the Demon Curse contained too much of the Demon ' resentment, or perhaps because the primal power of hell within the curse influenced the Demon. But overall, this was a good thing for Robet, since he was worried that the Demon wouldn't be able to target him when he released the Demon Curse!
"Diana, keep an eye on things. I'll take care of this batch first!" Robet looked around but didn't see the blurry outline from before. So Robet shouted and charged at the Demon. He didn't use Ki Blast, but crippled them all with a few punches and kicks.
Robet had heard Diana say that the Demon grew stronger by devouring his companions, so he decided to create an environment for him to do so.
In no time at all, the Demon lay on the ground, struggling helplessly; not a single one of them was capable of fighting.
With a "whoosh," Robet withdrew the Demon Curse and put it back into his shoe.
Diana watched this scene, resisting the urge to ask why the Demon Curse was placed in the shoes. She remembered that after every battle, Robet's clothes were always tattered and torn, and even his underwear was often unrecoverable, but Robet shoes were always remarkably well-preserved.
"Let's go, it's all taken care of. Let's go find the Demon in the next place!" Robet winked at Diana and said with a loud laugh.
"Will he really fall for it?" Diana looked at Robet who was walking over with some suspicion, took Robet hand and leaned closer to ask in a low voice.
"It doesn't matter if he knows it's a trap. As long as he can't find our location, he'll eventually be unable to resist making a move!" Robet said with a smile via Telepathic Communication.
"I understand!" Diana grabbed Robet's hand and flew up. The two of them vanished instantly, leaving only a ground full of Demon struggling helplessly. In the darkness, a pair of eyes Greed watched all of this, but dared not move at all, because Robet's Ki Blast earlier had already frightened him.
Under the cover of night, one Demon after another could not withstand the injuries inflicted on them by Robet and gradually lost their lives. Their corpses lay there slowly losing their vitality, while the pair of eyes in the shadows grew even more Greed, and in the end, he could not resist!
With a "whoosh," a blur of motion flashed through the night, attacking the dying Demon without a sound. He intended to devour them first, as the Demon Demon no value or power.
With a "whoosh!" sound, a brick jumped out from the side and transformed into Robet's appearance, startling the Demon that had just appeared.
The Demon had no time to think, and didn't even have time to devour his dying Demon companions. Cautiously, he instinctively concealed himself and ran to the side.
"Clang!"
"Clang!"
Immediately following were a series of impact sounds. Robet used his Telekinesis to create a barrier around the area, completely enveloping it.
With a loud "bang!", the Demon reacted quickly, crashing through the ground in an attempt to break through from underground, but ultimately stopped with a "clang".
"Roar!" When he realized he had nowhere to escape, the Demon returned to the ground, but his figure was still not fully revealed. Instead, he was moving at high speed, and even Robet, who had trapped him, could not see his whereabouts clearly. This was mainly because his figure was almost transparent, which was much more advanced than Susan Storm's invisibility!
"Huh?" However, as the Demon moved at high speed, Robet gradually noticed that the Demon's figure was becoming more distinct, and the aura emanating from the Demon was constantly increasing. All the dying and gruesome Demon corpses around it disappeared, swallowed up on the spot by this Demon.
"What is this? Its strength has increased, its speed has increased, but its invisibility ability has weakened? Has it not been fully digested?" Robet scratched his head, looking at the monster in front of him that looked like a patchwork of minced meat, and couldn't help but complain, "And how can it be so ugly?"
