Kara Danvers

"Hm?" When Robet and the blonde girl's eyes met, they both raised their eyebrows almost at the same time.

Robet sensed that the blonde girl had a stronger ki than an ordinary person. He hadn't expected to run into a superhuman here, much less a woman. The strength of the ki she carried was already no weaker than Chi-Chi's in the Dragon Ball World.

What Robet didn't know was that the blonde girl had also sensed something unusual about him. Without thinking, she activated her X-ray vision, her gaze passing straight through his clothes before settling on the tail wrapped around his waist!

That was why the blonde girl had raised her eyebrows along with Robet's. She had never seen a human with a tail before!

Yes, this blonde girl had the same abilities as Clark. She was one of Clark's people, a relative with a closer blood connection than the Kent Family!

The blonde girl's name was Kara Danvers. Her Kryptonian name was Kara Zor-El, and she was Clark's cousin. In theory, she should have been older than Clark.

But during Kara's journey through space aboard her ship, an accident had occurred. Just after the ship left Krypton, a meteor struck it and knocked it off course. Not only did this delay Kara's arrival on Earth by several years, it also left the young Kara in a state of long-term hibernation.

Clark's ship had reached Earth in 1980, while Kara's didn't land until 1996. She was accidentally discovered by the Danvers and adopted by them. Taking Kara's original age into account, she had started school in the same year as Robet.

As for how several spaceships could have landed on Earth without being detected, all anyone could say was that at the time, Earth had no way to monitor or track advanced alien spacecraft. It was full of holes, practically incapable of stopping anything...

Kara had come to Earth because her parents wanted to get her away from Krypton's harsh living conditions and have her look after her cousin Clark, who had no one on Earth. But they hadn't expected an accident to happen during the journey through space.

More importantly, after arriving on Earth, Kara no longer remembered that she was supposed to look after her cousin. She didn't even know that her little cousin had grown into her older cousin and was now older than her. If they ever reunited, it was hard to say who would end up looking after whom!

Because of the meteor strike and her prolonged hibernation, Kara's memory had also suffered. She only remembered that she was an alien and that she was supposed to have a relative somewhere on Earth. She couldn't remember who that relative was or where to find him...

Yes, Kara was the alien child who had lost her memories during a spaceship journey. Robet had merely used that as an excuse. The excuse had come from Son Goku, who had become kind after injuring his head as a child.

"Hi, I'm Kara, Kara Danvers. Are you the new transfer student? What's your name?" In the classroom, Kara was very curious about Robet's tail. She quietly used her X-ray vision to examine it, and her gaze also landed on a few other things. Her face flushed slightly, but she still walked over to greet him, keeping her composure.

"Robet. Robet Kent." Robet frowned. He sensed a somewhat familiar aura coming from Kara, one that seemed a little like Clark's. This left him puzzled.

"Robet, it's not the start of a new term. Why are you transferring at this time of year?" Kara didn't stand on ceremony. She sat down beside Robet and looked him over curiously, her gaze eventually falling—seemingly by chance—on his tail as she struck up a conversation.

As Kara observed him, she realized that the tail wrapped around Robet's waist looked a little like a monkey's tail, but cuter, like the tail of an adorable creature from a cartoon. She couldn't help wanting to touch it and find out why a human would have a tail like that.

"What are you trying to do?" Seeing Kara inch closer, Robet snapped, eyeing her warily.

"Oh! Sorry. I just think you're... kind of cute, and I couldn't help myself..." Kara came to her senses at the sound of Robet's voice. Realizing she'd been a little too forward, she smiled shyly and apologized. She had almost mentioned his tail, but caught herself just in time.

As soon as Kara finished speaking, their classmates all looked over. After all, Kara was the most popular girl in class, and nearly every boy had a crush on the beautiful class flower with her curvy figure.

So most of the boys glared at Robet in annoyance. Only one frail-looking boy stared at him enviously, then shook his head, turned away, and went back to studying.

"Class is about to start. You should get back to your seat." Seeing the looks the others were giving him, Robet knew Kara's words had brought him trouble. He shook his head helplessly and said, irritated, "Go on."

Kara could tell Robet was displeased. She didn't want to ruin her relationship with the only extraordinary person she'd ever found, especially since she hadn't yet uncovered his secrets!

With that in mind, Kara lowered her voice and said earnestly, "I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. Don't worry, I'll take care of this. No one will give you a hard time!"

"Let's hope so!" Robet shrugged. He wasn't convinced. Unless she had some special ability, those restless boys wouldn't be so easy to handle.

"You'll see!" Kara's lips curved upward. She lifted her head with a confident, proud air, then returned to her seat.

Robet didn't give the matter another thought and resumed meditating.

While Robet meditated, Kara continued sneaking glances at him. Her eyes glimmered with curiosity. She wasn't only wondering why Robet had a tail; she was also curious about what he was doing, and why the strength of his cells kept increasing!

The school day passed quickly, and before long it was time to go home. To Robet's surprise, no one had come looking for trouble with him all day—not even at lunchtime. He couldn't help wondering how Kara had managed it.

"Well? Didn't I tell you no one would bother you?" Kara found Robet after school, looking a little proud. Then she invited him, "Where do you live? Let's walk home together."

"No thanks. We're going different ways." Robet shrugged. What was she talking about? He was going back to Kansas, and he still had to train and find something to eat on the way. He hadn't even eaten his fill at lunch. How could he possibly walk home with Kara?
