Iron Man's Sense of Crisis
"I also have the Arc Reactor that Ivan made. I refuse to believe that once I manufacture a high-quality, low-cost individual Mecha, you will still be on his side!" Justin Hammer remained silent for an unknown period of time before finally taking a deep breath and deciding to spend whatever it took to reverse the current decline of Hammer Industries.
After all, if things continue like this, Hammer Industries will not be able to recover. Hammer Industries itself has poor innovation and manufacturing capabilities, and has always relied on high-quality products at low prices to make a living.
Of course, while it's said to be good quality and cheap, it's really just cheap enough and barely usable. But now, Justin Hammer is determined to change the current situation of Hammer Industries. As long as he can create a single-soldier Mecha, even if it can't compare to Tony Stark's Iron Man Mecha, it will be enough for Hammer Industries to make a brilliant comeback!
"As long as we succeed, Ivan's death is no big deal. At least for me, he still has some value..." Justin Hammer quickly made his decision and then took action. Since he couldn't save Ivan, he naturally wouldn't waste time. After all, his relationship with Ivan was just one of mutual exploitation.
Meanwhile, at Tony Stark's house, there were only four people eating, but dozens of people were busy cooking. It was only because Tony Stark's house was big enough and had enough kitchens that they were so busy.
It must be admitted that these chefs are quite skilled, especially after Robet requested that plating be omitted and that each dish be made in larger quantities.
Although these chefs were far less skilled than Robet in grilling, they prepared a variety of other dishes that Robet couldn't make, making the meal quite satisfying.
Seeing Robet devour his food, the chefs, driven by money and their professional ethics, didn't react much. However, Tony Stark, Pepper, and Happy stared wide-eyed at Robet. Although Robet had previously stated he had a large appetite, this was simply too much!
Tony Stark even wondered if Robet could really eat his fill every day, given his enormous appetite. Surely he couldn't possibly go hungry all the time? But Robet hadn't reacted much when Tony transferred money to Robet before!
However, Tony Stark couldn't bring himself to ask such a question, nor could Tony Stark simply throw money at Robet like he would at anyone else, because Tony Stark was worried that his head would fly off before the money even left his hands.
After a while, when the dozens of chefs were all somewhat exhausted, Robet finally finished eating. The chefs took their money, feeling completely drained. After all, dishes that Robet specifically requested to eat again were usually quite complex to prepare, and Robet wasn't content with just eating them once more; Robet treated the place like a buffet...
"Thank you for the treat!" Robet said with a satisfied smile to Tony Stark after eating and drinking his fill, which surprised Tony Stark. To be honest, this was the first time Tony Stark had ever seen Robet speak to him with such an attitude. In Tony Stark's mind, Robet had always been a violent kid with terrifying destructive power, and he was extremely ruthless, as if life was worthless in Robet's eyes.
But this time, Tony Stark realized that his understanding of Robet might have been too one-sided. Moreover, those Robet had truly killed weren't good people, and they all harbored hostility towards Robet. Even Tony Stark himself wouldn't have shown mercy to such people...
After a series of thoughts flashed through his mind, Tony Stark's feelings for Robet improved even more. Coupled with Robet's help, Tony Stark felt that he might be able to get a little closer to Robet.
"You saved Happy's life, and you saved mine before too. If you have time, come over anytime. I'll prepare a lifetime meal ticket for you, how about it?" Thinking this, Tony Stark looked at Robet and said with a smile.
"That's great! I'll come over when I have time!" Robet's eyes lit up. He glanced at Tony Stark's hastily bandaged wounds and said with a smile, "Let me help you heal your injuries. Being bandaged like this must be quite uncomfortable..."
After Tony Stark returned, he locked Ivan up, gave him some basic first aid, examined Happy, and finding nothing seriously wrong, began to have dinner with Robet. Happy had indeed fully recovered, but Tony Stark Tony Stark quite a few injuries, and even with the advanced medical technology here, he couldn't heal them quickly enough.
With a "whoosh!", as Robet finished speaking, before Tony Stark could react, the light of the Healing Spell enveloped Tony Stark. Not only were Tony Stark's recent injuries completely healed, but the fatigue that had lingered in his body also disappeared, and he was instantly fully recovered.
"WTF?!" Tony Stark couldn't help but swear, because at this moment Tony Stark felt as if he had been completely rejuvenated. Even the potions he developed himself could not achieve this effect, let alone heal his injuries.
As Tony Stark finished speaking, he saw Pepper and Happy looking at him strangely, as if to say, "You've already brought Happy back from the brink of death, is it really worth being so surprised that he's recovered from such a minor injury?"
"Ahem!" Tony Stark snapped out of his daze, coughing awkwardly twice before lowering his voice and asking Robet in a low voice, "This familiar feeling... did you obtain the power of the Horse Talisman?"
Tony Stark had worked with Steve and Bucky many times before, so he knew a thing or two about Steve's new abilities. In Tony Stark's opinion, although Steve's Laser Eyes had limitations, their power was indeed considerable. Before this new Mecha was developed, his energy waves were not necessarily a match for the Laser Eyes.
Therefore, upon witnessing Robet's abilities, Tony Stark immediately thought of the power of the Talisman. Tony Stark vividly remembered the Ocean Healing Goddess had saved him using the Horse Talisman. Of course, now that he was reformed, he certainly wouldn't harbor any ill intentions...
"I suppose so, but my abilities lean more towards healing..." Robet. Healing Spell was indeed awakened because of the appearance of the Horse Talisman, so Tony Stark's understanding of it wasn't entirely wrong.
"So you're all-powerful now? You're incredibly destructive, and you can even heal others? Angel and Demon coexisting!" Tony Stark said to Robet with some emotion.
"There's no difference between Angel and Demon!" Robet shook his head, thinking of Raziel and Gabriel. In Robet's eyes, Angel were no more benevolent than Demon. At most, they were evenly matched. It was just a matter of who was more evil. In this world, the so-called kindness of Angel and the cunning of Demon were basically the same thing.
"You've encountered Angel?" Tony Stark's eyes lit up, and he looked at Robet with anticipation, asking, "Could you tell me about it?"
Tony Stark had no particular faith in Angel or God. After all, he had been a staunch Defenders of science, and even though he had wavered somewhat, he had not completely switched sides to believe in so-called gods.
However, Heaven is, after all, one of the most widely spread beliefs, and if the gods in this belief truly exist, Tony Stark would be interested, especially after hearing Robet's tone; this Angel doesn't seem to be as benevolent as the legends suggest.
"Well, I can give you a brief explanation, but you should be prepared first..." Robet said softly, glancing around at the people around him.
"Don't worry, we don't have any followers of Jehovah here..." Tony Stark smiled and waved his hand, waiting to see what the real Angel Robet was talking about would look like.
Robet nodded upon hearing this and briefly explained the relationship between the Shadow Hunter and Raziel, as well as what had happened before, leaving Tony Stark and the others looking at each other in bewilderment.
"So that means the Angel is dead, but his Angel's Blood has restored some of the Shadow Hunter ' abilities?" Tony Stark asked, frowning. "What if Heaven takes away their abilities and lives again?"
"There's nothing we can do about it. I can't just extract their abilities directly, and they're quite accepting of this kind of thing..." Robet shrugged and said softly.
"So, all those extraordinary powers come at a price? What about science? Does the power of science also come at a price?" Pepper weakly raised her hand, glanced worriedly at Tony Stark, and then looked at Robet to ask.
"I don't know about that. I haven't studied that area. However, there shouldn't be any scientific gods or dimensions..." Robet thought for a moment and felt that the possibility was relatively low, because compared to the power granted by those dimensions, the abilities developed through scientific research are unlikely to truly become the power unique to an individual.
For example, Tony Stark's Iron Man Mecha. Anyone who wears it can impersonate Iron Man, even if there are some differences, the difference in strength won't be too great.
Of course, Robet doesn't know much about science, and if there really is a scientific deity or dimension, Robet would have a hard time discovering it, since the two don't have any common ground.
As Robet finished speaking, silence fell over the room. Even though Robet had warned them beforehand that they needed to prepare, Pepper and the others still found it hard to accept that the Angel they knew had become what Robet described. This was even before Robet had told them about Gabriel and the location of Heaven.
"It seems that the so-called gods are truly unreliable; humanity must rely on itself!" Tony Stark said firmly. "In fact, both Heaven and Hell should stay away from the human world and should not disturb humanity's normal life!"
"That requires sufficient strength!" Robet said with some emotion, thinking of those distant dimensions.
Furthermore, let alone those distant dimensions, even a lord from the Hell Dimension like Mephisto, if he could truly unleash all his power on Earth, Robet would definitely be no match for him, and even Clark wouldn't necessarily be able to secure a victory.
After all, Clark has very few tricks up his sleeve, especially against beings like the Hell Lord who come from the Hell Dimension. Their methods at the soul level are definitely more powerful, and that is precisely one of Clark's few weaknesses.
Even though Robet had previously helped Clark specifically train his soul strength, compared to Clark strong individuals of the same level, Clark's soul was indeed a weakness. Especially since Clark's soul lacked talents such as Steel Body, he was virtually defenseless in both attack and defense.
Therefore, Robet knew that although they didn't pose much of a threat on Earth now, when a real crisis struck, neither he nor Clark would be strong enough!
"You're not strong enough?" Tony Stark asked Robet with some surprise after hearing Robet words. In Tony Stark's opinion, Robet, who was able to defeat the Hell Demon King, was not invincible, but he was already quite terrifying. If even Robet felt that his strength was insufficient, Tony Stark suddenly felt that the Mecha he had just developed, which had the destructive power of a nuclear explosion, was not so great after all.
"Definitely not enough. If it were enough, I'd go straight into the Hell Dimension Hell Dimension and clear it out right now!" Robet shrugged. It's not easy for people from the Hell Dimension to come to the Earth Dimension, but it's not that difficult for them to travel from the Earth Dimension to the Hell Dimension.
Even Constantine could open the Hell Gate using formations and send people's bodies or souls into the Hell Dimension, so it's clear that this isn't a particularly complicated method.
"Now that you mention it, I feel like my power isn't quite enough either..." Tony Stark glanced at the newest Mecha suit beside him and realized he might need to continue his seclusion to build Mecha!
"Tony, you've only just started resting..." Seeing Tony Stark's expression, Pepper immediately understood what he meant. She looked at Tony Stark with a hint of helplessness and reminded him.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Of course, we need to deal with Ivan first, otherwise it might affect the entire Stark Industries..." Tony Stark smiled and shook his head, then began to think.
Killing Ivan outright is not Tony Stark's style. It's not that Tony Stark doesn't kill, but rather that if he kills someone in battle, he kills them; to capture them and then kill them again just doesn't feel right.
Moreover, it must be admitted that Ivan does have his value, a value that is of little use to Tony Stark, but a different story to others...
