As he prepared to attend the KOF Tournament, Chizuru Kagura warned him that Orochi’s weakened seal threatened the world, and the tournament draw placed several familiar teams in his group.

• Bai Ye defeated the Evil Path practitioner and Jiangshi, then told Zhuge Kongping he wanted the Dead Dragon Vein and persuaded him to reveal its location.
• Bai Ye destroyed Zhuge Kongping’s Bronze Armor Zombie and its ghostly followers, then followed Zhuge Kongping to the hidden Dragon Vein site.
• Bai Ye met Liu Bowen, received the method for reviving the Dragon Veins, and took the Dead Dragon Vein after learning about the plan to restore it.
• Bai Ye returned to Miaojiang, where Grandma Xuehua gave him its Dead Dragon Vein and offered her help as he pursued its revival.

• Madara Uchiha arranged an open battle with Bai Ye, who set it for three days later, while Orochimaru prepared to revive powerful shinobi with Impure World Reincarnation.
• Itachi Uchiha returned to the Uchiha Compound to atone, and Bai Ye had him detained until after the war rather than deciding his punishment immediately.
