Bai Ye gathered allies to confront Hong Kong Island’s ghosts and hidden sorcerers while preparing a ghost-catching team. He uncovered the group behind a series of supernatural incidents and killed its sorcerer, but feared the sect would retaliate against Zhong Fabai and that other threats remained hidden.

• After Bai Ye rescued Taisuke Rui and secretly secured the jewel, Rui admitted her feelings and decided to investigate him, while Vermouth and Sato Miwako separately sought his help.
• Bai Ye agreed to help Sato investigate the Phantom Thieves, then began dealing with Hong Kong Island’s ghosts and foreign sorcerers alongside Wang Anguo and Zhong Fabai.
• Bai Ye sent Aqi into his jar, defeated Chu Renmei, and recruited Famao, Leon, and Jojo to join his ghost-catching team.
• Bai Ye and Zhong Fabai investigated missing soldiers at a military camp, where their team fought Jiangshi and uncovered a blood-sacrifice formation.
• Bai Ye traced the formation’s construction crew to Da Sha and connected the military camp incidents to other ghostly events around Hong Kong Island.
• Bai Ye and Zhong Fabai followed Da Sha to a haunted building, where Zhong Fabai caught fleeing ghosts as undercover police officers continued their counterfeit-money investigation.
• Bai Ye rescued Da Sha, tracked the Jiangshi’s hidden sorcerer underground, and learned the sorcerer’s group had caused the earlier incidents.
• Bai Ye survived the sorcerer’s attack, killed him and his transformed acolytes, and worried that their sect would target Zhong Fabai or conceal further threats.

Bai Ye rescued the trapped trainees, then negotiated the peaceful submission of Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s country and led the fight against Muzan. With the demons gone and the country set to unite with the Empire, Bai Ye turned toward a new haunting at the Murder House.

• Bai Ye killed the female sorcerer, then joined Zhong Fabai in rescuing the trainees trapped at Curse Paradise and guided them through its ghosts and haunted grounds.
• Bai Ye decided to confront the sorcerers in Sakura Country, but postponed his trip to help Uncle Feng and meet his daughters before setting out.
• Bai Ye negotiated with Kagaya Ubuyashiki, agreeing to preserve the country’s name and existing arrangements while uniting it with the Empire and eliminating Muzan.
• Kagaya Ubuyashiki told the Demon Slayer Corps and ministers about the surrender, then traveled with the Corps to meet Bai Ye at the border.
• Bai Ye found the entrance to Muzan’s Infinite Castle and led Esdeath and the Demon Slayer Corps inside, where Esdeath fought Kokushibo and Bai Ye confronted Muzan.
• Bai Ye killed Muzan with lightning, ending the demons’ power and Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s family curse, then led everyone out as the Infinite Castle collapsed.
• Bai Ye told Kagaya Ubuyashiki that he would unify the country while keeping its existing arrangements in place for now.
• Bai Ye accompanied Old Andy to Vivian’s haunted house after Old Andy introduced him as an Eastern exorcism expert.

Bai Ye exorcised the ghosts of Murder House and the Overlook Hotel, then took on Joker in Derry with Old Andy and Violet. After killing Joker, Bai Ye agreed to train Violet in Necromancy and told her about Zoe in New Orleans.

• Bai Ye exposed the ghosts in Murder House, revealed Tate had violated Vivian and fathered her child, and helped the Harmons leave after they chose to send the Demon Child to Hell.
• Bai Ye and Old Andy traveled to New Orleans, where Bai Ye met Zoe at a witches’ gathering and spent the night with her before promising to return.
• Bai Ye and Old Andy investigated the Overlook Hotel, where Bai Ye killed the evil spirit controlling it and helped arrange for Jack to be taken to a psychiatric hospital.
• After receiving a draw reward, Bai Ye accepted a job investigating Derry and learned that Joker returned every twenty-seven years and fed on fear.
• Bai Ye spoke with Violet about her despair, agreed to take her as an assistant, and discovered that she was highly suited to Necromancy before signing a contract with her.
• Bai Ye, Old Andy, and Violet confronted Joker near the sewers, and Bai Ye crushed Joker’s heart after revealing his weakness.
• Bai Ye received a draw reward for defeating Joker, praised Violet’s lack of fear, and agreed to train her while they stayed nearby, and Violet asked to meet Zoe.

Bai Ye met Lux in Demacia and helped her decide to travel, but LeBlanc’s plot to free the imprisoned mages triggered an uprising and an assassination attempt on Jarvan III. After the crisis, Bai Ye left with Lux, reunited with Sona, and took in the wounded Katarina, who joined them on a journey to Shurima.

• Bai Ye met Lux in Demacia, discussed the mage issue with her, and agreed to stay while she considered whether to leave the kingdom.
• LeBlanc disguised herself as Lux and helped Sylas escape, leading the freed mages to attack Demacia as Katarina attempted to assassinate Jarvan III.
• Lux and Bai Ye awakened Galio, and Jarvan III ordered them to let the retreating mages go in hopes of reconciliation.
• Lux left Demacia with Bai Ye, who tested Steel Heart on Garen, Jarvan IV, and Lux before taking her to Sona’s concert.
• Bai Ye recognized the badly wounded Katarina at Sona’s residence and realized he had forgotten to meet her as Swain’s contact.
• Sona and Lux helped Katarina recover, and Katarina attended Sona’s concert with them as she grew closer to Lux.
• Swain told Bai Ye and Katarina that the Black Rose still threatened her and asked them to travel through Shurima with Lux until Noxus was safe for her to return.
• Katarina joined Bai Ye and Lux on their planned trip to Shurima, while Bai Ye told the chat group about their route and heard from Xuehua about her grandmother.
