Uchiha Nan revealed a cruel smile, raised the ninja blade in his hand, and charged toward Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Hiruzen Sarutobi had exhausted his previous momentum and had yet to recover his strength. Watching Uchiha Nan constantly closing in on him, he grew incredibly anxious.

He desperately wanted to speed up his evasion, but unfortunately, Uchiha Nan shifted his position behind Hiruzen Sarutobi in the blink of an eye.

As if he had eyes in the back of his head, Uchiha Nan spun around rapidly, blocking the attack with his ninja blade. Sparks flew from the collision.

Uchiha Nan turned to face him, flashing a meaningful smile at Shimura Danzō, as if he had known all along that Shimura Danzō would step out to launch a sneak attack.

Finally, I've lured you out.

Uchiha Nan felt a surge of joy. What was the point of killing Hiruzen Sarutobi alone? He had to make sure Hiruzen Sarutobi had company on the road to Yomi!

Shimura Danzō was the perfect candidate for that!

Hyuga Takuma let out a thunderous shout. Someone had actually launched a sneak attack from behind—which clan did this person belong to?

Were they tired of living?!

Every eye in the arena fell upon Shimura Danzō. Uchiha Inohi was itching to strike and kill Shimura Danzō on the spot!

Good. Uchiha Nan was very satisfied with this response. Mito Uzumaki was truly someone who had survived the Warring States period; she didn't hesitate at all when it was time to be decisive.

Uchiha Nan kicked aside Hiruzen Sarutobi's obstructive hand and looked toward Shimura Danzō.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, his face covered in blood, looked at Shimura Danzō, unable to understand why he would step forward to throw his life away.

Shimura Danzō gave Hiruzen Sarutobi a smile, then charged at Uchiha Nan, holding a Kunai in his hand, intending to engage in hand-to-hand combat.

Is he trying to get himself killed?

Uchiha Nan couldn't help but chuckle. Shimura Danzō's actions were no different from a moth flying into a flame; he looked like a man determined to die. Regardless, there was no way he was walking out of Konoha today.

Clang! Clang! Clang!!!

The ninja sword and Kunai collided repeatedly, sparks flying everywhere. At first, Shimura Danzō managed to parry Uchiha Nan's attacks, but gradually, he began to panic, unable to keep up with Uchiha Nan's speed.

"Rip!"

The blade sliced through the air with a roar, striking Shimura Danzō. Uchiha Nan immediately followed up with a kick, sending him flying.

Shimura Danzō was sent tumbling, rolling continuously until he came to a stop right beside Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"This game is about finished."

Uchiha Nan lowered his sword, and a Lava Release: Spiraling Shuriken appeared out of thin air in his hand. He intended to use this strike to send Shimura Danzō and Hiruzen Sarutobi to meet the Sage of Six Paths.

Shimura Danzō was a madman; he was the type to carve the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing onto his own body just so he could take his enemies down with him when he reached his end.

Uchiha Nan didn't know if Shimura Danzō was that insane yet.

To be safe, it was better to just kill them with the Lava Release: Spiraling Shuriken.

There were no bridges here, after all!

"Sayonara!"

Uchiha Nan flashed a gentle smile at Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō, hoping they would have a pleasant next life.

Uchiha Nan considered himself a gentle person, after all!

Uchiha Nan threw the Lava Release: Spiraling Shuriken at the two of them.

An explosion rang out, erupting in a blinding white light that left everyone present in awe of the power of the Lava Release: Spiraling Shuriken.

Using this move to send off Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō is a fitting end for them.

The blinding light finally vanished, leaving behind a massive crater. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō had completely disappeared from this world; they were blown to bits, not even leaving a scrap behind.

Uchiha Nan exhaled in relief. He had finally gotten rid of the scourges of Konoha.

According to the original timeline, after Hiruzen Sarutobi died, Konoha could barely even select a new Hokage; its strength had declined to an unbelievable degree.

If not for the rise of Naruto Uzumaki, Konoha would surely have been doomed to destruction.

Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō certainly deserve the "credit" for causing such an outcome!
