All the gods gathered at one of the Preaching Platforms in the Heavenly Court. Quasi-Sages and Grand Luo Golden Immortals sat in circles beneath the platform.
Holy Mother Zi Guang had already ascended the platform and begun this Dharma Assembly.
Luo Qing and the other Sages, as usual, remained standing in the distance.
After hearing so many Sage Dharma Assemblies, the Dao and teachings of a newly advanced Sage like Holy Mother Zi Guang could hardly arouse the interest of the Sages present.
Most of their attention was focused on Huang Tian.
They all wanted to know when Huang Tian would choose to relinquish the Heavenly Throne.
Zhunti was especially eager and directly asked Huang Tian,
"Daoist Huang Tian, when do you plan to abdicate? That will give our disciples time to prepare."
Huang Tian had been prepared for this. Everyone was eagerly waiting for him to leave as soon as possible and free up the position.
If he dragged things out, it would only look bad.
"Rest assured, fellow Daoists. Give me fifty thousand years. Once I handle the various matters left behind in the Heavenly Court, I will abdicate and yield the position to the worthy."
Fifty thousand years?
That indeed was not long. It could even be said to be very soon.
All the Sages were satisfied with this answer. All that remained was to strengthen the Heavenly Emperor candidates they had chosen and strive to claim the position of Primordial Chaos Heavenly Emperor.
Huang Tian knew very well that although the Sages present were being quite courteous to him now,
once he stepped down from the position of Heavenly Emperor and was left with only Quasi-Sage cultivation,
even with Ancestor-Master Luo Qing as his backer, these Sages would not turn hostile and disown him, but their
