Three Pure Ones

In the Jade Pool Immortal Realm, Luo Qing met the most famous "Three Saints" in the legends of the Primordial Wilderness for the first time.

Grand Pure Laozi is depicted as an old, decrepit, and otherworldly immortal.

The Yin Yang and yang energies flowed smoothly around him, his energy was peaceful and there was no hint of sharpness.

It truly deserves the name "Harmony"!

Jade Pure Yuanshi is a middle-aged man whose aura is in harmony with heaven and earth, conforming to the spiritual mechanism of the Heavenly Dao.

Luo Qing observed that it should be described as "compliant".

Upper Pure Tongtian, on the other hand, appeared to be a young man. Judging by his appearance, he was about the same age as Luo Qing, around twenty years old.

Tongtian, however, exuded a vibrant and rebellious aura, and his eyes were even more piercing than those of his two elder brothers.

Luo Qing only saw the word "rebellion" in Tongtian.

The Three Pure Ones, looked alike, as if they were the same person in three different stages of youth, middle age, and old age.

But regardless of which of the three, their auras were as vast as the sea and unfathomable.

As the Three Pure Ones, transformed from the Pangu's Primordial Spirit, they can be considered the most direct descendants of Pangu.

The Twelve Ancestor Witches are roughly comparable to the Three Pure Ones in status.

With the legacy of Pangu's creation of the Merit of Heaven Opening, it's no wonder that these three were chosen as one of the Six Sages by Heaven.

As Luo Qing sized up the Three Pure Ones, he couldn't help but marvel at their noble birth.

The Three Pure Ones were also observing Luo Qing and Fairy Xihua at the same time.

Fairy Xihua is one thing, but as Innate Sacred Beings born of the same mother from the Kunlun Mountain Range, belonging to both Yin Yang and Yang.

The Three Pure Ones and the Fairy Xihua also sensed something in each other.

But they did not expect that a fifth Innate Sacred Beings would appear in the Kunlun Mountain Range.

However, Luo Qing's aura was well-controlled, and his body was completely concealed, so for a time the Three Pure Ones could not discern Luo Qing's Foundation.

All who come are guests!

After the five of them— Three Pure Ones, Luo Qing, and Fairy Xihua— greeted each other, they were considered to have gotten to know each other.

All five possessed Innate Sacred Beings Foundation, and their cultivation caves were all located in the Kunlun Mountain.

Luo Qing and Fairy Xihua are old friends, and Fairy Xihua is related to the Three Pure Ones as cousins.

Luo Qing and the Three Pure Ones quickly became acquainted.

Luo Qing also gained a deeper understanding of the personalities of the Three Pure Ones.

Grand Pure Laozi was a kind and easy-going person with exceptional emotional intelligence. Although he didn't talk much, every word he uttered was like a gentle breeze.

Yuqing, on the other hand, is arrogant despite her compliantness, and her words and actions often reveal her arrogance.

Upper Pure Tongtian was the youngest and most active, with an exceptionally domineering air about him and a slightly impatient temperament.

The five sat down and discussed philosophy, talking about everything under the sun, exchanging ideas on the Dao, and for a time the atmosphere was harmonious.

This discussion lasted for five years.

As the discussion concluded and Luo Qing and the Three Pure Ones departed from Jade Pool,

Fairy Xihua plucked four fruits from the Yellow Middle Plum Spirit Root Tree and said:

"Four fellow Daoists, we are all immortals and gods of Kunlun. I have gained a lot from this discussion on the Dao."

Having nothing to offer in gratitude, I can only present these Yellow Middle Plum as a gift. I hope my four fellow Daoists will not find them offensive."

Luo Qing had used the fruit of the Yellow Middle Plum Fruit and knew that this fruit had miraculous effects on enlightenment.

The Three Pure Ones brothers and sisters accepted the gifts without hesitation.

After accepting the gifts from Fairy Xihua, Tongtian laughed and said:

"Fellow Daoists Xihua and Luo Qing, my two brothers and I are planning to leave Kunlun Primordial Wilderness around the prehistoric world. Would you be willing to join us?"

Luo Qing immediately shook his head upon receiving the invitation from the Three Pure Ones to travel together.

"Unfortunately, I have an important matter to attend to, so I cannot travel with you three fellow Daoists."

What a joke! Imagine him traveling through the Primordial Wilderness with the Three Pure Ones!

Luo Qing was certain that most of the fortuitous encounters and spiritual treasures he would encounter would fall into the hands of the Three Pure Ones.

This is not only because the Three Pure Ones have more members, but also because their Foundation are noble, and they receive far more Heavenly Dao Favor than Luo Qing.

Being with them meant Luo Qing Luo Qing only drink some meat broth, which he didn't want.

"Thank you for the invitation, fellow Daoists. I'll decline! Now that you've all left Kunlun Mountain, you'll need me to look after your home!"

Fairy Xihua smiled and politely declined Tongtian's invitation.

Luo Qing gave the Fairy Xihua, who was surrounded by an air of nobility, a strange look.

He always felt that this legendary "West Queen Mother" had a bit of a "homebody" personality.

A sense of languor permeates the noble and dignified air.

"Then I'll have to Daoist Xihua to look after Hua Tian Peak for me!"

"I have a sworn brother in Hua Tian Peak, but his cultivation is still shallow. I hope Daoist Xihua will take good care of him."

Luo Qing didn't stand on ceremony and readily entrusted Hua Tian Peak to the care of Fairy Xihua.

Fairy Xihua also smiled and said, "Daoist Luo, rest assured, my little sister is here to look after Kunlun Mountain, no one can disturb us."

Outside the Jade Pool, Luo Qing and the Three Pure Ones bid each other farewell and then departed separately.

After leaving the Kunlun Mountain Range, the Three Pure Ones stood atop a cloud.

Laozi asked, "Second brother, third brother, what do you think of Fairy Xihua and Fellow Luo Qing?"

Yuanshi replied, "Fairy Xihua was born from the Yin veins of Kunlun Mountain. Even if her Foundation are not as good as ours, she should still be considered the best in the Primordial Wilderness."

However, for some reason, I observed that his aura was strong yet waning, and his Dao Fruit was incomplete; I fear he will find it difficult to achieve the Great Dao in the future."

As he spoke, Yuanshi shook his head with great regret. As they were both born from Kunlun, Yuanshi was still very close to Fairy Xihua.

"As for that Fellow Luo Qing, although I sense that his Foundation is extraordinary, he should be regarded as a highly respected figure in the Daoist world."

However, it suffers from congenital deficiencies, and its Sacred Origin is incomplete. Its future path of seeking the Tao will likely be equally difficult.

Moreover, he is burdened by Karmic Obstructions, and negative karma; he likely has many skeletons in his hands and is not a good person."

Compared to the harmless Fairy Xihua, Yuanshi felt a certain apprehension towards Luo Qing, and for some reason, he harbored a subtle dislike for this person.

Upon hearing Yuanshi's words, Tongtian frowned and said:

"Brother, you are mistaken! Do you not know the principle that the Great Dao is fifty, the Heavenly Dao is forty-nine, and man escapes to the one?"

"The Fairy Xihua, noble yet not extravagant, strong yet weak, seems to have a flawed foundation, but is full of signs of vitality and shows no signs of decline."

Even if there are hardships on his future path of cultivation, it is unlikely that they will be able to stop him from moving forward.

The Great Dao Fairy Xihua is finally within reach!

"Looking at Fellow Luo Qing again, although he has a congenital deficiency..."

However, his facial features and aura revealed that he had been steadily rising in status in the past.

As long as this upward trend continues, Fellow Luo Qing's future achievements may not be inferior to ours.

As for any Karmic Obstructions, even those who cultivate the Tao have their Dao Struggle; how could they not be tainted by any karmic consequences?

Compared to Jade Pure Yuanshi, Upper Pure Tongtian spoke highly of Luo Qing and Fairy Xihua.

Tongtian truly believed that the two had unlimited potential; otherwise, he wouldn't have invited them to travel together in the Primordial Wilderness before parting ways.

Yuanshi shook his head again, saying, "Third brother, don't you know that following the will of Heaven and Earth is difficult? A sliver of hope for survival in the pursuit of the Dao is not so easy to obtain."

"Man proposes, God disposes; though fate has a nine-tenths chance, there is still a sliver of room for maneuver. How can one say that the will of Heaven cannot be defied?"

Tongtian disagreed with Yuanshi's words.

This reflects the different understandings of the Great Dao between Yuanshi and Tongtian.

It looked like the two brothers were about to start arguing.

Laozi smiled and shook his head:

"My two virtuous brothers, please stop arguing. We are all cultivating in Kunlun. As for fellow Daoists Xihua and Luo Qing, we can simply observe how things develop from here on out."

With Laozi's words, Yuanshi and Tongtian had no further objections.

In any case, they are not subject to the calamity of lifespan, and one day they will see the achievements of Luo Qing and Xihua.

The outcome of today's contest will be determined by time.
