Creating a Mandala faith pantheon with oneself as its god was not without risks.

If someone gathered enough faith, they could use it to launch a Karma Curse Kill against the divine lord.

If the divine lord was not powerful enough, he would definitely be dragged into it and killed.

This was also why, in the mythological legends, when the Acquired Godhood era rose to prominence,

the world's faith in the Divine Dao centered around massive faith pantheons.

Only under the protection of an immensely powerful divine lord could ordinary believers in the gods remain unafraid of Karma Curse Kills.

The Buddhist pantheon, the Taoist pantheon, the Heavenly Court pantheon, and so on.

These widely circulated pantheons were without exception backed by supreme gods—the Mandala Lords—who were unafraid of schemes and underhanded methods.

As for the other scattered divine faiths and minor pantheons, they gradually disappeared into the river of history.

The number of pantheons that had collapsed after their Mandala Lords and supreme gods were cursed and killed by others was beyond counting.

Luo Lian and Zi Luo were only at the Grand Luo Golden Immortal realm. If Quasi-Sages or even Sages used their faith to cause trouble for them,

the two of them might truly be unable to withstand it.

Long Ling, meanwhile, was already on the verge of attaining sainthood. She also did not walk the path of the Divine Dao, making her unsuitable for coming into excessive contact with these forces of faith.

That was to prevent others from exploiting them and ruining her Dao Path.

"If your Dao Path remains unbroken and there is still a road ahead of you, remember never to rely too heavily on faith. It is not omnipotent."
