"There were seven major tribes among the High-dimensional Demons. It was anyone's guess which one had come this time.

Relations among the High-dimensional Demons were more like a tribal alliance. None of the seven major tribes held authority over the others, and the same was true of the medium-sized and smaller tribes.

The alliance's rules were crude and simple: whoever found something reaped the benefit. Once a tribe discovered a Galactic Arm, the others couldn't interfere unless it asked for help.

This loose structure was a result of the peculiar nature of High-Dimensional Space-Time. The positions of the High-dimensional Demon tribes were constantly shifting, so they could only estimate one another's locations, never pinpoint them exactly. The alliance existed to establish each tribe's hunting grounds and prevent them from going to war over the souls of the Material Realm.
