The Imperial Fleet had seized the absolute initiative. It circled the NPC Stellar Ship, bombarding it while diverting the Titan's firepower and attention. This allowed the follow-up assault forces to press their advantage and open new battlefronts in different sections of the massive ship.
Gradually, the NPC Titan Ship's furious barrage died down. One by one, the gun batteries on the hull's surface were captured, causing its firepower to plummet and making it harder to defend against the Assault Ships breaking through.
The Primal Matter gradually slowed its bombardment, then fell completely silent. By then, the only ship still firing on the battlefield was the NPC Titan Ship, and even its guns could manage little more than a feeble barrage. With some of its cannons captured, its firepower density had plunged, greatly reducing the threat it posed to the fleet.
Instead, NPC Warships poured continuously out of the Titan Ship. They soon formed a Combat Formation in space, posing a considerable threat to the Yuanli Fleet.
With the Gods' attention and support, this deep-space encounter—which should have been a brutal battle—ended after just six months. The Primal Matter deployed its Warp Bubble once more and continued its exploration of deep space.
Meanwhile, the NPC Titan Ship, its elongated hull studded with countless Assault Ships, slowly ignited its engines and set course for the Milky Way Galaxy, more than a hundred thousand light-years away. It opened a Warp Bubble and began its FTL voyage.
Inside the gigantic ship, hidden from view, the fighting continued without pause. Key sites such as the energy-control core and the Titan command center had already been captured. The next step was a large-scale sweep to clear every Alien NPC from the Titan Ship, then repair it.
This little episode had earned the Empire another Titan Ship.
