Saintess and Qian Xunji

Spirit Hall invested heavily in Bibi Dong’s upbringing as its Saintess and prospective Pope. She fell in love with Yu Xiaogang and planned to leave the organization with him. She later learned that he had approached her to gain access to Spirit Hall’s library rather than out of genuine love 252 254 293.

Qian Xunji was her teacher. After discovering her intention to leave, he induced a confused state and violated her; Qian Renxue was born afterward. Bibi Dong associated her daughter with that trauma and transferred her hatred of Qian Xunji onto her. Rakshasa erosion further aggravated her behavior 293 314 341.

Bibi Dong later killed Qian Xunji, a fact she admits under the influence of Xiao Ze’s Truth-telling Peanut 249.

Papal Faction and Tang Hao

As Pope, Bibi Dong led a faction that was at odds with Qian Daoliu’s Worship Hall. When an anonymous report supplied information about Tang Hao, she passed it to the Worship Hall despite recognizing the possibility of a trap. Success would benefit Spirit Hall, while losses among the enshriners could strengthen her own faction’s position 13.

Years later, Xiao Ze revealed that he had sent the report as a child because of his feud with Tang Hao’s son, Tang San 249.

Xiao Ze’s Recruitment and Yu Xiaogang’s Exposure

Xiao Ze and Liu Erlong first met Bibi Dong in the Palace of the Pope. She threatened Liu Erlong and reacted with killing intent when Xiao Ze exposed her secret Rakshasa trial. The Rakshasa God subsequently instructed her not to interfere with his ascension and to treat him well 247 248 249.

Xiao Ze offered cooperation through his special crops and warned that Yu Xiaogang would seek her Twin Martial Soul cultivation method for Tang San. Bibi Dong agreed to test Yu Xiaogang with a Truth-telling Peanut, choosing Spirit Hall’s future with Xiao Ze over her attachment to her former lover 249 250.

The interrogation confirmed Yu Xiaogang’s exploitation of her and his connection to Tang Hao. She ordered him hung outside Spirit Hall, kept alive until the tournament teams arrived, and refused Yu Yuanzhen’s demand for his release. After settling the matter, she formally invited Xiao Ze to join Spirit Hall and become its next Pope 254 255 261.

Tournament and Modernization

Bibi Dong presided over the Soul Master Tournament finals and offered three Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Bones as the championship prize. She also mobilized Title Douluos against Tang Hao and captured Xiao Wu during the aftermath of his attempted self-destruction 269 272 274 275.

Her partnership with Xiao Ze expanded into military and institutional reform. His Heavenly Yue Empire Soul Tool Book supplied the foundation for Spirit Hall’s research and manufacturing. She accepted Soul Tools readily, supported assembly-line production, and planned to reorganize its legions into Soul Tool Legions 293 314.

She also supported the dissemination of Soul Core knowledge and the development of Soul Spirit Towers. For the latter project, she sent nearly five hundred spirit-type Soul Masters to Xiao Ze for training 318 330 335.

Reconciliation with Qian Renxue

Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue initially argued over their respective feelings for Xiao Ze. He intervened and insisted that they address their underlying family conflict, leading Bibi Dong to disclose the circumstances of Qian Renxue’s birth 340 341.

Qian Renxue eventually cried herself to sleep in Bibi Dong’s arms. Bibi Dong stayed beside her and admitted that hearing her daughter call her “Mother” pleased her. Their relationship began to improve, although their barbed exchanges did not disappear entirely 342 363.

Empire and Divine Conflict

Bibi Dong directed preparations for continental unification, assigning operations against the Clear Sky Sect and Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect alongside intelligence, manufacturing, and logistical tasks. She personally accompanied the attack on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, using Yu Luomian as an informant 349 355.

Spirit Hall subsequently became the Spirit Hall Empire, with Bibi Dong as its first ruler. She ordered simultaneous preparations for war against Heaven Dou and Star Luo; both empires were later absorbed, unifying Douluo Continent 359 367.
