Wang Qiu'er was born as the Star Dou Great Forest's Imperial Auspicious Beast, an existence carrying the forest's Power of Destiny and fortune. After the prior Auspicious Beast exhausted its fortune and died, Bi Ji personally cared for Wang Qiu'er through her upbringing. Their bond became familial despite having no blood relation 175.

After living for roughly fifteen thousand years as a Soul Beast, Wang Qiu'er took human form to experience human society. During their match, Zi Yao recognizes her identity as the Imperial Auspicious Beast. Wang Qiu'er relies on the Golden Dragon Spear, Golden Dragon Body, Golden Perception, Golden Dragon Roar, and Golden Dragon Fist, but Zi Yao ultimately defeats and freezes her with Mysterious Ice Finger 106 108.

First Friendship with Zi Yao

Zi Yao later releases Wang Qiu'er from the Extreme Ice seal and offers her support if she encounters trouble in human society. Though angered by his teasing, Wang Qiu'er realizes that she wants to see him again and wonders whether this unfamiliar feeling is friendship 115.

Rematch and Soul Spirit Cooperation

Nearly two years after their first duel, Wang Qiu'er seeks Zi Yao out for a rematch and to learn about the Soul Spirit system. She agrees to guide him to the Star Dou Great Forest so he can negotiate with Di Tian 164 165.

Their rematch in Zi Yao's Undead Demi-Plane escalates from a spear spar into a full clash of Golden Dragon and Extreme Ice abilities. Return to the Star Dou Great Forest

Wang Qiu'er returns to the Star Dou Great Forest with Zi Yao, where the Fierce Beasts condemn her human transformation because the forest has lost its fortune's protection.
