| Level 98 | 60 | While healing in the City of Slaughter’s Blood Pool, Tang Hao broke through his Level 97 bottleneck. The Blood Pool also aggravated his killing intent and pushed his Clear Sky Hammer toward a more dangerous state. |
Background / History
Tang Hao entrusted his son, Tang San, to Yu Xiaogang before wandering the continent in isolation. He was consumed by self-blame, guilt toward the Clear Sky Sect, and grief for Ah Yin, numbing himself with alcohol rather than confronting his past. 37
His past was later exposed publicly: Tang Hao had protected Ah Yin, a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast, during a pursuit by Martial Soul Hall. Ah Yin ultimately sacrificed herself to save Tang Hao and their child. 47 48
Appearance
Tang Hao is a tall, weathered man whose appearance reflects years of grief and neglect. When he learns of the Clear Sky Sect’s destruction, his disheveled hair, stubbled face, and numbed expression give way to bloodshot eyes and overwhelming killing intent. 37
- Carries the Clear Sky Hammer, surrounded by nine soul rings, including a blood-red Hundred-Thousand-Year soul ring. 37
- His combat aura manifests as a dense dark-red, bloodlike killing intent. 37 58
- During his final stand, his body is left cracked and bleeding after using Explode Ring. 61
Personality
Tang Hao begins the story withdrawn, guilty, and self-destructive. Though he avoids his past, the destruction of the Clear Sky Sect immediately reignites his attachment to his home, bloodline, and elder brother Tang Xiao. 37 38
His grief readily turns into reckless fury. He repeatedly attempts to confront Ye Xian despite knowing the difference in their power, prioritizing vengeance over his own survival. 38 49
Despite his harshness and later tension with Tang San, Tang Hao cares deeply for his son. Before leaving Shrek Academy, he urges Tang San to live well and train hard; in his final moments, Tang Hao calls for Ah Yin, Tang San, and his father. 38 51 61
