At noon, after the Land of Fire Daimyo's Mansion was attacked.
Tobirama carried the unconscious Chiri and Izuna with him as he teleported back to Konoha using the Flying Thunder God Technique.
The commotion at the Land of Fire Daimyo's Mansion had already subsided.
There were no major problems, and besides, Tobirama couldn't afford to focus on what was happening there just yet.
This time, Izuna had clearly built up much more tolerance for teleportation. He didn't keep throwing up like before.
But his slightly greenish complexion was still enough to show he hadn't completely gotten used to it. Or perhaps it was that he was in a terrible mood.
It was only natural.
He'd just been revived, only to be dragged into a battle he could barely make sense of. Even after gaining the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he'd still lost to the enemy's cunning scheme.
He hadn't even managed to honor his Elder Brother's request. He'd failed to protect the Uchiha Clan's talented young prodigy, leaving Chiri blind.
After all that frustration and humiliation, how could Izuna possibly be in a good mood?

When he saw Tobirama beside him, battered and bruised until he looked like a pig's head, some of the anger in Izuna's heart faded.
At least he'd gotten to beat Tobirama up at the end and let off some steam. That was the one silver lining.
But Izuna knew.
Tobirama had deliberately taken the beating, to atone for failing to protect Chiri.
Otherwise, even if Tobirama couldn't beat Izuna as he was now, he could have simply escaped with the Flying Thunder God Technique. Izuna wouldn't have been able to stop him.
So Tobirama had clearly accepted the beating willingly.
It couldn't make up for much of his wrongdoing, but at least
