The first-year opening question did not stump the newly enrolled Young Wizards.

Everyone soon entered the Common Room.

The male and female prefect each gave a speech to assert their presence. Both were quite eloquent, and a burst of enthusiastic, socially savvy applause sounded through the Common Room.

Satisfied, the two began assigning dormitories to the first-years.
