Rain poured down in sheets.
It streamed along the castle's towering turrets and winding ramparts. The night sky seemed to be torn apart by invisible hands as brilliant bolts of lightning split the Night Curtain.
Accompanied by deafening thunder overhead, the flashes cast the entire castle into alternating brightness and darkness. Yet the strange creature remained hidden beneath the eaves amid the torrential rain.
It simply stared silently at Ian inside the dormitory.
Restless.
Poised to strike.
The flimsy windows of the Ravenclaw dormitory clearly could not stop it from entering.
However.
Just then.
"Krrrraang!"
A clear, ringing cry sounded out. A fiery red figure bloomed amid the lightning like a ray of morning sun breaking through the darkness. As if sensing a threat, the strange creature suddenly beat its wings.
It bobbed up and down like a flying stingray, while the fiery red figure pursued it relentlessly. In the blink of an eye, the two Magical Creatures vanished completely into the Night Curtain.
Everything returned to calm.
As though nothing had happened.
The rain continued to fall.
Until the following morning.
As the deep Night Curtain and the raging storm gradually receded, the sky slowly began to lift its heavy black veil.
The raindrops went from urgent and violent to sparse before finally stopping. Only droplets slipped gently from the eaves and leaves, producing pleasant pattering sounds.
A soft blue-violet hue quietly spread across the horizon, signaling the beginning of a new day.
"Why are you still sleeping?!"
Green-haired William had gone to sleep later than anyone else, yet he was also the first to get up in the dormitory. He had risen even earlier than Ian's highly disciplined biological clock.
"It's the first day of school. Do you want to be late? I heard Hogwarts doesn't
