Arc 6The Loop and the Black Phoenix
Ian escaped Slytherin’s time loop, killed Voldemort, and began pursuing the Legendary Path while Dumbledore’s time experiments and the mystery of the Black Phoenix drew him into new dangers. The stretch left Ian with a ten-thousand-year contract-bound skeleton, new clues about Dumbledore’s plans, and a startling pile of Philosopher’s Stones to show Nick LeMay.
- Ian investigated an Ouroboros mark that had returned him to November 30, then learned from Dumbledore and Grindelwald that he was trapped in a realm of discarded possibilities created by Slytherin’s Thousand-Year Legend.
- Ian, Dumbledore, and Grindelwald failed to break the loop with a modified All Spells End, but Ariana cut through the distorted space with the Sword of Gryffindor, sending Ian back to Christmas in the restored timeline.
- Ian and Dumbledore confronted Voldemort at Hogwarts, and Ian killed him with a Magic-Modified Handgun before a Black Phoenix swallowed Voldemort’s Remnant Soul and passed power to Ian.
- Dumbledore revealed that Ian’s golden runes were Proof of Legend, then admitted he had used a Time-Turner and allowed Ian to face Voldemort to see whether he could shatter Destiny.
- Ian learned that Aurora had joined Daphne Greengrass’s Anti-Prince Alliance as a spy, while Aurora and others suggested that powerful families expected Ian to become a king for wizards.
- Ian followed clues about an injured raven teacher and a Black Phoenix feather, then entered the Misty Illusion, where his Patronus revealed a ruined city and he found a Great Clock and an Emerald Seed.
- A Black-Robed Skeleton followed Ian out of the Misty Illusion and revealed that a ten-thousand-year contract bound it to serve him in exchange for being given flesh, then killed attacking Centaurs with scarlet flames.
- Ian learned from William that Quirrell had been made into a Horcrux and heard Aurora’s account of Dumbledore’s forbidden plans, then showed Nick LeMay a heap of Philosopher’s Stones.
