Arc 9The Raven’s Ancient Journey

After escaping Pompeii, Ian traveled into ancient Britain, where he confronted Merlin, entered Medivh’s tomb, and transformed into a Raven. He named the unborn Arthur, discovered Soul Hall’s interest in Morgan, and agreed to help protect her.

  • Ian gained Helpo’s Paradox Authority, restored Pompeii after its destruction, and traveled into the past with Riddle and Malfoy.
  • Ian became Mentor Medivh to young Morgan and challenged Merlin for an Ancient Time-Turner, defeating him and entering Medivh’s tomb with him.

  • Ian returned to Hogwarts and learned that the Time-Turner connected to the Great Clock, then exposed Merlin hiding as Rirym and forced him to reveal his history with the Raven.
  • Merlin showed Ian that the Raven had trained him as a replacement for the original Merlin and had given him the feather that became the core of Ian’s wand.

Snape and Dumbledore were caught in an Ancient Magic maze, while Ian was dragged through the Bronze Door after discovering its runes and the dragon’s recurring death.

  • Morgan told Ian to collect the parts of a beating metal heart, and Pandora emerged from Ian’s wand as King Arthur and attacked her before Ian stopped him.
  • Ian learned that one of his Three Corpses had repaired Pandora’s shattered soul, then forged a rune-covered sword and gave Pandora’s swordsmanship memories to use in a cybernetic skeleton.
