Adopted by Martial Soul Hall, Bibi Dong grew up as a proud, lonely prodigy who rarely associated with ordinary children. She met Yu Xiaotian during a visit to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Unlike her peers, he neither revered nor flattered her; his stories quickly won her affection. At his awakening ceremony, she abandoned Qian Xunji's side and ran toward him, calling him “Little Tian Brother” 6.

Qian Xunji interfered with their correspondence by intercepting and burning her letter. When they reunited, Bibi Dong initially blamed Yu Xiaotian for failing to reply, then realized that her teacher had prevented delivery. Yu Xiaotian also recognized that her pursuit of rapid advancement was damaging her foundation and allowing her second Martial Soul's malevolent energy to affect her personality. His intervention relieved her pain and challenged the belief that she existed only to grow stronger for Martial Soul Hall 29 32 33 34.

Their bond developed through exchanges of knowledge and resources. Bibi Dong disclosed medicinal-herb information, helped arrange access to Martial Soul Hall's theoretical texts, and later gave him Holy Light Dragon Heart Grass. In the library, she admitted that nobody asked what she wanted beyond cultivation results. Bibi Dong first approached Yu Xiaogang after hearing him explain Martial Soul theory to common Soul Masters. Impressed by his claim that there were no useless spirits, only useless Soul Masters, she proposed traveling together. She protected them from soul beasts and later supported his access to Martial Soul Hall's resources and rare theoretical texts 72 73.

She concealed her second Martial Soul from both Yu Xiaogang and Qian Xunji. She feared that Yu Xiaogang's enthusiasm for theory or inability to keep secrets could expose it to her teacher. That concealment later saved her when Qian Xunji, already badly injured by Tang Hao, attempted to sexually assault her to preserve the Angel family's bloodline. Bibi Dong killed him with the Soul Devouring Spider Emperor and began the Rakshasa Trial 33.

To restrain Qian Daoliu's retaliation, she took Qian Xunji's illegitimate daughter as her goddaughter and named her Qian Renxue. Although she eventually reached Level 99, trial backlash reduced her effective strength, making a confrontation with Qian Daoliu uncertain. She continued to imagine that completing the trial and controlling the continent would remove every obstacle to reclaiming Yu Xiaogang 33.

The heavenly screen exposed both her hidden Martial Soul and her counterpart's happier life. When Yu Xiaogang returned seeking resources and protection for his clan, Bibi Dong rejected his appeals, imprisoned him, and ordered Liu Erlong's cultivation crippled.
