• Tathagata Buddha appeared just as Li Longji was about to kill Samantabhadra, then struck Li Longji away with a casual flick.
• Li Longji defied Tathagata's pressure and attacked him with his jade seal, but Tathagata sent him flying again and mocked his weakness.
• Tathagata insulted the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, angering Li Longji and the Human Race figures in Huoyun Cave.
• Howling Celestial Dog appeared above Chang'an, challenged Tathagata over his remark about slaughtering a dog, and charged at him.

Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog fought Tathagata Buddha while Li Longji executed Samantabhadra for his crimes against the Great Tang. After Samantabhadra died, Li Longji turned his attention to An Lushan.

• Yang Jian confronted Tathagata Buddha under Heavenly Court law and attacked him with the Three-Pointed Double-Edged Halberd.
• Howling Celestial Dog joined Yang Jian, revealed he had reached the heavenly Dao realm, and helped block Tathagata Buddha from escaping.
• Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog battled Tathagata Buddha across the heavens, while Howling Celestial Dog captured Samantabhadra and sent him to Li Longji.
• Li Longji pinned Samantabhadra down and executed him by Lingchi over seven days, naming the crimes behind each cut.
• After Samantabhadra's soul and spirit were destroyed, Li Longji confronted An Lushan, who collapsed in fear.

After executing Samantabhadra, Li Longji turned the people’s outrage against An Lushan, but had to give up their borrowed strength when An Lushan ordered a full assault. As An Lushan’s Blood River Formation threatened the Human Race, Li Longji borrowed Human Emperor Power from the Human Dao and renewed the battle.

• Li Longji defended Samantabhadra’s execution by condemning the Asura Clan and Western Teachings, and the people of Great Tang rallied behind him.
• An Lushan ordered the Asura armies to attack, forcing Li Longji to disperse his borrowed power and leaving him weakened as Asura generals surrounded him.
• An Lushan unleashed 480 million Blood God Son clones and formed the Blood River Formation, gravely wounding Li Longji and the human army.
• Li Longji asked the Human Dao for Human Emperor Power, received the Human Emperor Throne Altar, and rose to the Third Heaven of the Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal.

As the Human Race fought the Asura Clan and Western Teachings, Old Bai and Old Jin, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, the Bull Demon King, and many others sacrificed themselves to destroy the enemy. Moved by their courage, Houtu ordered Li Shimin to seal the Netherworld Blood Sea and exterminate the Asura Clan.

• Li Longji and An Lushan continued their fierce battle outside Chang'an, while Zhang Yifan told Houtu to let the Mortal Realm endure its own trials.
• Old Bai and Old Jin self-detonated inside an enemy formation, wiping out nearby Asura Clan and Western Teachings forces while sparing other living beings.

• Great Immortal Zhen Yuanzi used the Book of Earth to destroy Asuras and Western Teachings followers near Wuzhuang Temple, then declared the area a refuge for humans.
• Houtu removed the Asura Clan from the Six Paths of Reincarnation and ordered the Yellow Springs Army to surround and destroy the Blood Sea, gravely wounding An Lushan through their connection.
• Grieving over the devastation, Du Fu met Zhang Yifan, who helped him realize that writing carried the Human Dao and that Confucianism could lead to Sainthood.

Du Fu used the power of his poetry to break An Lushan’s Blood River Formation, destroy his Blood God Son clones, and stop his attempt to detonate himself. After Du Fu killed An Lushan, the sages of the Human Race celebrated the rise of Human Dao.

• Du Fu recited poetry that turned falling leaves and Yangtze torrents into attacks, breaking the Blood River Formation and destroying most of An Lushan’s Blood God Son clones.
• As powerful figures across the Primordial Continent watched, An Lushan ordered his remaining clones to explode, but Du Fu froze and destroyed them with another line of poetry.
• Du Fu blasted An Lushan away with saint’s power, while onlookers marveled at the many kinds of law power his poetry commanded.
• An Lushan tried to self-detonate and take the Primordial Continent with him, but Du Fu summoned an army whose arrows pierced An Lushan’s body and primordial spirit, killing him.
• Du Fu declared An Lushan executed and called for surrender; in Huoyun Cave, Fuxi, Shennong, Xuanyuan, and the other Human Race sages celebrated Human Dao’s rise.

After Li Longji ordered a counterattack in the Mortal Realm, Suirenshi broke Tathagata Buddha’s formation and burned the Netherworld Blood Sea dry, preventing the Asura Clan from being reborn. The victory left Li Shimin and his commanders wondering how the Six Paths of Reincarnation could remain complete without the Asura path.

• Li Longji ordered Great Tang’s forces to exterminate the Asura Clan and Western Teachings, and the Human Race resistance forces launched a counterattack.
• Li Shimin’s Yellow Springs Army surrounded the Netherworld Blood Sea but could not break Tathagata Buddha’s formation, while the Asura Clan mocked them and insulted Houtu.
• Suirenshi arrived, revealed he had reached the second heaven of the Heavenly Dao Realm, and shattered Tathagata’s formation with the Human Race’s Primordial Fire.

When Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog gained the upper hand, Black Gold Tathagata sacrificed his remaining Great Dao Soul to raise Tathagata Buddha to the half-step Great Dao Realm, leaving Yang Jian’s descending strike impossible to stop.

• Li Shimin ordered three hundred thousand Yellow Springs Army soldiers to guard the dried-up Netherworld Blood Sea and sent the rest back to the battlefronts against the Skeleton and Zombie Empires.
• Houtu asked Zhang Yifan what the Asura Clan’s extinction meant for the Six Paths of Reincarnation, and he told her to watch Yang Jian’s battle before worrying about it.

Tathagata Buddha revealed his half-step Great Dao Realm power and nearly killed Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog, but Yang Jian endured with the Dog Beating Stick. Zhang Yifan shielded the Primordial Continent from their clash, while Tathagata, limited by a quarter-hour, raced toward Lingxiao Palace with Yang Jian pursuing him.

• Tathagata Buddha unleashed half-step Great Dao Realm power, badly wounding Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog and destroying several heavens.
• Dao Ancestor Hongjun escaped while Sect Master Tongtian and the others were distracted by Tathagata's power.
• Yang Jian blocked Tathagata's killing punch with the Dog Beating Stick, and their clash shattered more of the Thirty-Three Heavens.

As time ran short, Tathagata sacrificed his source soul to gain first-rank Great Dao power, while the evil Buddha Randeng secretly stole the Heavenly Dao laws and absorbed Buddhist power.

• Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog each took a grievous injury while diverting Tathagata Buddha’s attacks away from Lingxiao Palace.

After Tathagata’s power revealed the Primordial Continent’s location to the heavens, the Jade Emperor stepped outside the formation to face him.

• Tathagata Buddha’s Great Dao power blasted Sect Master Tongtian, Primeval Lord of Heaven, and Goddess Nüwa into Chaos, leaving the Heavenly Court exposed.
• The Jade Emperor taunted Tathagata as the Heavenly Court’s protective formation repelled his attacks without damage.
• Tathagata Buddha recognized that Zhang Yifan was protecting the Heavenly Court and realized his power had exposed the Primordial Continent’s coordinates to the heavens.
• Bai Susu ordered the powerful beings of the heavens to hold off the invaders at any cost and buy the Primordial Continent time.
• Tathagata repeatedly attacked and cursed the Jade Emperor, who left the Heavenly Court’s protection and confronted him.

The Jade Emperor confronted Tathagata Buddha and endured his Great Dao attacks without moving, protected by Zhang Yifan’s discarded underclothes. After Tathagata Buddha’s sacrificial power ran out and the Jade Emperor beat him, Tathagata warned that the Primordial Continent’s location had been exposed to the Myriad Heavens and Worlds and that an invasion was coming.

• Sect Master Tongtian and the others rescued the wounded Yang Jian and Howling Celestial Dog and brought them to Zhang Yifan’s farmhouse courtyard.
• The Jade Emperor taunted Tathagata Buddha, who attacked him with the Pillar of Buddhist Dao Law, but could not hurt him.
• Tathagata Buddha exhausted his sacrificial power and weakened as the Jade Emperor revealed he wore Zhang Yifan’s old undershirt and baggy underpants.

After the Jade Emperor killed Tathagata, Li Longji executed Crown Prince Li Heng and bound Yang Yuhuan to serve him, then announced the Mortal Realm’s unification. The chapter ended with Great Tang celebrating Li Longji and calling for him to become Human Emperor.

• Tathagata fell to the Jade Emperor, while Dao Ancestor Hongjun decided to seek the Great Dao Realm rather than return to the Primordial Continent.

The former Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors left Huoyun Cave, and Li Longji announced an enthronement ceremony in three months, which Houtu agreed to witness.

• Across the Mortal Realm, people and soldiers called for Li Longji to ascend as Human Emperor, while Li Shimin and others in the Netherworld celebrated his rise as a descendant of the Li family.
• Li Longji declared his intention to become Human Emperor, and purple aura, golden light, and merit descended upon Chang'an as his cultivation rose to the first heaven of the Primordial Chaos Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm.

Goddess Nüwa then arrived to offer a congratulatory gift, leaving the gathered people eager to see what she would give.

• Great Immortal Zhen Yuanzi and his son arrived at the vast, rebuilt Chang'an City, where Guo Ziyi welcomed Zhen Yuanzi and escorted him to the honored guests' seats.
• Empress Houtu arrived with prominent figures of the Netherworld, and the citizens of Chang'an knelt to welcome her.
• Houtu used the Book of Life and Death to grant every living being recorded in it an additional sixty-six years of mortal life.
• The people thanked Houtu, while Zhen Yuanzi, Di Renjie, Guo Ziyi, Gao Shi, and Du Fu marveled at her gift.
• Goddess Nüwa arrived, was welcomed by Di Renjie and the citizens, and announced that she would also offer a gift to the Human Race.

Goddess Nüwa gave humanity the Monster Summoning Banner to unite humanity and the Demon Race, then used her power to restore more than a thousand heroic spirits from history. The returned heroes swore loyalty to the Human Emperor and pledged to help humanity flourish.

• Chenxiang explained to Du Fu that Empress Houtu had kept the souls of many who died in the Mortal Realm as citizens of the Netherworld, repaying a karmic debt by extending humanity’s lives.
• Goddess Nüwa bestowed the Monster Summoning Banner on the new Human Emperor, joining the leadership of humanity and the Demon Race.
• Goddess Nüwa reached into the Heavenly Dao and drew the true spirits of more than a thousand outstanding figures back into the Mortal Realm.
• Xiang Yu, Huo Qubing, Zhuge Liang, and other returned heroes swore loyalty to the Human Emperor and vowed to dedicate themselves to humanity.
