After an unknown length of time, Harry finally stirred awake on the sofa.
Harry stared in disbelief at Linley and Irina, who were sitting around the coffee table drinking tea. "Linley? Irina? Why are you here? No... I... where am I? Wasn't I already dead?"
Linley glanced at Harry, feeling somewhat puzzled.
If nothing else had gone wrong, then after Harry was struck by Voldemort's Killing Curse, his soul should have entered the King's Cross Station he had constructed himself.
There, in that self-created King's Cross Station, he should have seen the fragment of Voldemort's dead soul, as well as Dumbledore, who was about to embark on another great journey.
Harry should have learned of his situation from Dumbledore and realized that he had not truly died. The one who had died was Voldemort's soul fragment.
Yet judging by Harry's current reaction, he seemed not to have experienced any of that. He found the fact that he was still alive utterly unbelievable.
Linley rose to his feet. Slowly walking toward Harry, he lightly applauded and said, "Harry, congratulations on dealing with the Horcrux in your head. And likewise, I'm glad to see that you made up your mind and went alone to Avery Manor to face death."
Seeing Harry's frozen expression, Linley added, "Oh, right. Your performance in the battle against the Death Eaters in Eri Forest, and the fearlessness you displayed before Voldemort after entering Avery Manor, made me see you in a new light."
Listening to Linley's words, Harry blankly asked, "You saw it all?"
Linley smiled and confirmed, "I saw it all!"
