Hogwarts Castle.
As blood-red sunset clouds shrouded the ancient castle, an atmosphere of grim slaughter gradually spread through the air.
All the professors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had gathered outside the castle gates. Besides them, there were over two hundred members of the D.A. Army, their faces grave as they stared toward the far end of the bridge.
There stood a sea of dark figures. At least three thousand people wore black robes and the silver masks of Death Eaters, wands in hand, making no attempt to conceal their murderous intent and malice.
And floating in the air before those three thousand or so people was a figure everyone knew all too well.
Voldemort!
As they looked upon the Dark Lord, who had once frightened children into silence at night, some still began to tremble instinctively, even though Voldemort no longer seemed quite as terrifying as he had in years past.
Before the gates of Hogwarts Castle, Linley and Irina stood at the forefront, wands in hand.
