Background / History

The Ji Clan is an ancient human lineage with ancestors counted among the Human Emperors and Heavenly Emperors. Its ancestral branches spread across many regions; the Zhou Family of Earth is one such collateral line, though far removed from the main lineage in the Ziwei Starfield 108 142 315.

The clan maintained a long-standing alliance with the Heavenly Clan, which acted with the backing of the Ji Clan in the Milky Way Starfield 131 135. It took particular interest in Zhou Yunqiong because her bloodline was assessed as comparable to the main Ji Clan's. A high-ranking Ji figure provided her with a treasure, enabled her soul's transfer off-world, and had her body reconstructed using Ji Clan resources and divine artifacts 120 143 216 250.

After Zhou Yunqiong's reconstruction, the Ji Clan brought her to the Saint Realm, taught her powerful inherited arts, and treated her status as effectively comparable to that of a Sequence prodigy 250. Its support enabled her return to Earth as part of the clan's descent and intensified the clan's conflict with Lu Yuan 294.

Zhou Bloodline and Early Influence

The Ji Clan's earliest relevance comes through the Zhou Family, whose ancestry traces back to a Ji collateral line. The clan's interest in Zhou Yunqiong made her a protected and strategically valuable figure long before the Ji Clan's full descent 108 120 143.

The clan's relationship with the Heavenly Clan also established it as a distant but serious threat. The Heavenly Clan's position among descending extraterrestrial factions was reinforced by its Ji Clan backing 131 135.

Descent and Conflict with Lu Yuan

After rebuilding Zhou Yunqiong's body, the Ji Clan descended to Earth alongside other powerful extraterrestrial forces. It was identified as a top-ten power among the Top Hundred Star Domains, with the Heavenly Clan under its influence 294.

Ji Hongyu arrived as a Great Saint to save Zhou Yunqiong during Lu Yuan's battle with the assembled Sub-Saints. He directly confronted Lu Yuan and ordered Zhou Yunqiong to flee when it became clear he could not safely protect her while fighting 306.

Zhou Yunqiong later used the ancient mirror to summon the Ji Clan Divine Son's projection. The projection attempted to command Lu Yuan to end the conflict, but Lu Yuan refused and fought it directly 310. Lu Yuan ultimately forced the projection back, demonstrating that the Ji Clan's prestige alone could not make him yield 311 346.

Mount Tai Campaign

Once Severing Heaven and Earth's restrictions weakened, the Ji Clan descended upon Mount Tai under the leadership of the Third Ancestor and the Divine Son. Their force included dozens of Great Saints, with the two leaders having entered the Immortal Realm 372.

The clan intended to eliminate Lu Yuan as a future threat, but Jiang Huanyun's intervention forced a retreat. The Third Ancestor chose not to risk a direct clash with the Jiang Clan, instead deciding to seek an alliance with the Eternal Clan 374 375.

The Ji Clan and Eternal Clan agreed to target Lu Yuan and Mount Tai together. Their agreement specified joint control of Mount Tai, while the mysterious item there would belong to whichever side proved capable of taking it—revealing the alliance's underlying distrust 382.

Heavenly Emperor Ancient Token Conflict

The Ji Clan joined the Eternal Clan in seeking the Heavenly Emperor Ancient Token at Mount Emei. When news of the token's location was leaked, the clan was forced to contend with numerous additional star-domain powers rather than quietly securing it with its ally 399 400.

The Third Ancestor attempted to intimidate the gathered extraterrestrial forces by invoking the Ji Clan–Eternal Clan alliance. The effort failed to stop Lu Yuan from challenging the two powers and encouraging others to resist them 403.

During the ensuing conflict, Lu Yuan severely injured the Third Ancestor and targeted Ji Clan Cave Heaven Immortals 408. A Ji Clan Creation Immortal then faced Lu Yuan beyond Earth's atmosphere, but Lu Yuan killed him instantly with the Immortal-Slaying Flying Dagger 410 412.

Withdrawal and Demonic Alignment

Following its losses, Ji Hengdao ordered the clan to avoid open revenge against Lu Yuan, recall Creation Immortals and stronger, and focus on a larger priority 415. The Ji Clan and Eternal Clan subsequently withdrew forces from Earth, prompting speculation about their motives 416.

The Jiang Clan later captured a Ji Clan member and confirmed that the Ji Clan had accepted the power of the Extraterrestrial Heavenly Demons. This exposed the clan's active alignment with a force hostile to the universe rather than merely its rivalry with Lu Yuan 434 435.

Isolation Campaign

The Ji Clan and Eternal Clan began expanding their influence by attacking other races and forcing them into their alliance 436. Ji Clan forces occupied locations such as the Hengduan Mountain Range, where Black Blood-enhanced defenders were eventually driven back by Heavenly Court troops 442.

The clan also began destroying Teleportation Dao Platforms throughout the Milky Way Starfield to prevent reinforcements from reaching Earth 532. On at least one Earth-like world, Ji Clan Immortals slaughtered the population before destroying the planet itself, treating powerless lifeforms as insignificant 524 525 527.

Lu Yuan intercepted the responsible force and annihilated several Ji Clan experts, including Cave Heaven Immortals and a Heavenly Position Immortal 528 530.

Domain Lords' Return

After the Ji Clan's local forces became unreachable, its Domain Lord emerged from seclusion alongside the Eternal Clan's Domain Lord. Both had recently advanced to the Quasi-Emperor Realm but were forced to leave seclusion early at the request of the Extraterrestrial Heavenly Demons 565.

Alarmed that their elite clansmen near Earth may have been eliminated, the two Domain Lords decided to travel toward Earth and investigate the crisis themselves 565.
