As the Interception Sect guided the Four Emperors and gained their Merit, the Dragon Emperor seized the Western Sea and defeated Emperor Dong Hua. Emperor Venerate prepared to lead a campaign against him, while Guangchengzi arrived to propose an alliance with the Chan Teachings.

• Yuanshi punished Immortal Weng of the South Pole and Randeng after the Chan Teachings lost the Five Emperors’ Merit, then continued absorbing a strange black aura beneath Kunlun Mountain.
• Duobao followed Qin Mu’s order to refuse the imperial tutor positions, chose Interception Sect disciples to guide the Emperor Stars, and arranged for four of them to be reincarnated through Empress Pingxin’s special passage.
• Golden Spirit Mother guided Di Ku, the San Xiao Fairies guided Yao, and Mother Wudang guided Shun as each became a Human Emperor and restored his memories as an Interception Sect disciple.
• After Da Yu was born as the final Emperor Star, Zhao Gongming went to guide him, while the Dragon Emperor demanded that the Three Seas Dragon Kings submit to his rule.
• Ao Guang, Ao Qin, and Ao Shun accepted Emperor Venerate’s offer to bring the Dragon Clan under the Heavenly Court, and Emperor Dong Hua led its forces to confront the Dragon Emperor.

The Dragon Emperor challenged the Heavenly Court, drawing Candle Dragon and then Qin Mu into the battle. After Qin Mu overwhelmed the Dragon Emperor, Venerable Yuanshi revealed his corrupted power and forced Qin Mu to transform into Pangu.

• Guangchengzi brought the Dragon Emperor to Yuxu Palace, where Venerable Yuanshi agreed to ally with the Western Sea against the Heavenly Court.
• Emperor Venerate led the Heavenly Court army against the Western Sea, and the Dragon Kings of the Three Seas joined the confrontation.
• The Dragon Emperor broke his seals, revealed his immense strength, and defeated the Heavenly Court’s attacks before Candle Dragon emerged to defend the Four Seas.
• The Dragon Emperor overpowered Candle Dragon, and Qin Mu intervened, broke the Dragon Emperor’s attack, and began fighting him.
• Qin Mu wounded the Dragon Emperor and countered his destructive techniques until Venerable Yuanshi arrived and subdued the Dragon Emperor.
• Venerable Yuanshi drained the Dragon Emperor’s power and revealed that a strange aura had helped him reach Primordial Unity Grand Unity.
• Venerable Yuanshi attacked Qin Mu with overwhelming strength, wounded him, and declared he would destroy the Heavenly Court.

Qin Mu defeated Venerable Yuanshi repeatedly, then helped Emperor Venerate attain Sagehood as the Dragon Clan submitted to the Heavenly Court. Da Yu ended a devastating flood with the Ruyi Jingu Bang, while Venerable Yuanshi entered a portal and met the Primordial Heavenly Demon.

• Qin Mu used the Donghuang Bell, Sacred Spirit Pearl, and Destruction Divine Spear to kill Venerable Yuanshi repeatedly, weakening him each time the Heavenly Dao resurrected him.
• Dao Ancestor Hongjun asked Qin Mu to spare Venerable Yuanshi, and Qin Mu left Kunlun Mountain while Yuanshi returned to Yuxu Palace and absorbed the strange aura.
• Qin Mu helped the Four Seas Dragon Clan submit to the Heavenly Court, then gave Emperor Venerate a Primordial Violet Qi that enabled him to attain Sagehood.
• Da Yu traced a great flood to the East Sea’s unsealed Sea Eye, and Zhao Gongming followed Qin Mu’s advice to find divine iron for a sealing treasure.
• Saint Tongtian forged the divine iron into the Ruyi Jingu Bang, and Da Yu used it to suppress the Sea Eye and end the flood.
• Da Yu forged nine Merit-bearing tripods with the other Human Emperors, passed the throne to Qi, and departed for the Human Emperor Realm.
• Venerable Yuanshi absorbed ancient demonic aura beneath Kunlun Mountain, entered a boundary-breaking portal, and met the Primordial Heavenly Demon in the void.

Venerable Yuanshi allied with Demon Ancestor Luohu and the Western Teachings to undermine Qin Mu’s Heavenly Court, drawing Haotian into a secret bid for power. After the Shang Dynasty rose and the birth of Di Xin heralded the coming calamity, Emperor Venerate exposed Haotian’s plan and confronted him.

• The Primordial Heavenly Demon gave Venerable Yuanshi a token to find Luohu, and Venerable Yuanshi secured a demonic army to use against Qin Mu.
• Venerable Yuanshi persuaded Haotian to secretly claim the Heavenly Court’s Fortune, then tried and failed to recruit Jieyin and Zhunti into a direct attack on Qin Mu.
• Jieyin and Zhunti later allied with Venerable Yuanshi to undermine Qin Mu’s Heavenly Court and urged Haotian to establish a Western Heavenly Court.
• As the Xia Dynasty fell, Shang Tang defeated Xia Jie and the other lords, unified the Human Race, and founded the Shang Dynasty.
• Haotian secretly recruited dissatisfied Heavenly Court officials for his Western Heavenly Court, while Emperor Yi’s reign restored Shang fortunes and Di Xin’s strange birth stirred signs of calamity.
• Qin Mu recognized Di Xin as the coming Human Emperor and prepared for the Investiture of the Gods Calamity as Venerable Yuanshi and Haotian continued their plot.
• Emperor Venerate summoned the Heavenly Court’s officials, and Ling Weizi exposed Haotian’s plan and his secret recruits.
• Haotian claimed the Jade Emperor’s throne should have been his, and Emperor Venerate confronted him as his secret bid for power could no longer continue.
