Qin Mu arranged for Mystic Turtle to become the Third Human Emperor while Chi You’s return brought the Witch Clan into conflict with the Chan Teachings. After the infant Xuanyuan was chosen by Guangchengzi, Qin Mu defeated Yuanshi and brought the Lord of Stars into the Heavenly Court.

• Qin Mu sent Mystic Turtle’s spirit into reincarnation with his memories sealed, and Chi You returned to lead the Witch Clan’s attacks across the Primordial Wilderness.
• Yuanshi sent Guangchengzi and the Chan Teachings disciples to suppress the Witch Clan, but Chi You defeated them until Pingxin intervened and helped him escape Randeng.
• A child was born amid auspicious signs as the Third Human Emperor, and Qin Mu revealed that Mystic Turtle’s spirit would become the emperor.
• Yuanshi chose Guangchengzi to teach the child, whom Guangchengzi named Xuanyuan, while Qin Mu gave Chi You Great Witch Quintessential Blood to strengthen the Witch Clan.
• Emperor Venerate found the Lord of Stars hidden in a Small World, and their battle threatened the Heavenly Realm until Qin Mu intervened and saved him.
• Qin Mu pursued the Lord of Stars and fought Yuanshi, overcoming the Pangu Banner and forcing Yuanshi to withdraw.
• Qin Mu brought the Lord of Stars to the Heavenly Court, where Emperor Venerate named him Myriad Stars Heavenly Venerate and he pledged to serve.

Emperor Venerate recruited allies for the Heavenly Court as Xuanyuan and Yan competed to unite the Human Race, while Chi You’s return plunged Xuanyuan into a devastating war. Xuanyuan reached the Quasi-Saint Realm with the Nine Heavens Mystic Maiden’s help, and both armies prepared to meet at the Plains of Zhuolu.

• Emperor Venerate recruited Interception Sect disciples for the Heavenly Court, rejected the Saints’ disciples, and won the Queen Mother of the West’s allegiance with Primordial Violet Qi.
• Guangchengzi guided Xuanyuan’s rise, while Jieyin and Zhunti created Yan as a rival Human Sovereign who united tribes and divided the Human Race’s fortune.
• Xuanyuan used the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon to defeat Yan and unite the Human Race, but Heaven gave him no recognition as Human Sovereign.
• Yuanshi’s rage awakened the Primordial Heavenly Demon, while Chi You returned with eighty-one Great Witches and seized Human Race territory.
• Xuanyuan and Yan joined forces against Chi You, but repeated defeats devastated their army, and Randeng and the Chan Teaching disciples could not turn the tide.
• Emperor Venerate sent the Nine Heavens Mystic Maiden to help Xuanyuan, who cultivated with her, reached the Quasi-Saint Realm, and learned battle formations.
• Yuanshi gave Guangchengzi the Myriad Heavens Auspicious Cloud, and the Human Race and Chi You’s army marched toward their confrontation at the Plains of Zhuolu.

Emperor Venerate intervened to save the Witch Clan, while the Five Emperors’ succession set the Chan and Western Teachings against each other. At the Heavenly Court’s Flat Peach Banquet, Donghua defeated Manjushri and Guangchengzi, then pledged himself to Emperor Venerate’s rule.

• Randeng broke Chi You’s formation, but Guangchengzi turned against the defeated Witch Clan until Emperor Venerate stopped his attack and placed the survivors under Heavenly Court protection.
• Chi You agreed to lead the surviving Witch Clan to the Heavenly Court, and Xuanyuan received Merit before ascending to the Human Emperor Realm as the tribes again fell into division.
• Yuanshi sent Immortal Weng of the South Pole to secure Chan Teachings’ Merit among the Five Emperors, while Jieyin and Zhunti arranged for Dizang to guide their candidate.
• Dizang took Zhuanxu as his disciple and Immortal Weng of the South Pole took Shaohao as his, as competing Violet Qi marked the arrival of the first Five Emperors.
• Emperor Venerate hosted a Flat Peach Banquet where the Saints shared teachings and contributed prizes for a martial contest, with Qin Mu offering a hundred thousand units of Merit.
• Manjushri defeated several challengers, but Donghua easily overcame Manjushri and Guangchengzi in the Small World contest.
• After Donghua won the prizes, Emperor Venerate recognized him as the reincarnation of East King Duke and appointed him Donghua Dijun to oversee pure yang and help govern the immortals.

Qin Mu helped Tongtian sever his Saint position without losing his cultivation, while keeping the Meteorite Breaking Pill’s role secret. As Qin Mu began fusing ten Extra-Large Red Packets, Zhuanxu defeated Shaohao and became the foremost of the Five Emperors, setting up a struggle over the remaining emperors.

• Qin Mu met Lu Ya in Tanggu Valley, learned of the three-thousandth era and the Immortal Seed, and collected his tenth Extra-Large Red Packet.
• Qin Mu told Tongtian about Lu Ya’s revelations and urged him to take the Meteorite Breaking Pill, after which Tongtian challenged the Heavenly Dao and severed his Saint position.
• Tongtian survived the Heavenly Dao’s Punishment Thunder and rose to the Eighth Heaven of the Primordial Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm, while concealing the pill’s role from Taishang, Yuanshi, Nuwa, Jieyin, Zhunti, and Hongjun.
• Qin Mu returned to the Nether Underworld and began fusing ten Extra-Large Red Packets into a Super Red Packet, which the system estimated would take one hundred thousand years.
• Jieyin and Zhunti sent Kunpeng to support Zhuanxu against Shaohao, while Yuanshi sent Randeng to aid Shaohao.
• Kunpeng defeated Randeng in battle, and Randeng and Immortal Weng of the South Pole fled as Shaohao’s forces were defeated.
• Shaohao accepted defeat and sacrificed himself to heal the soldiers and calm their killing intent, after which Zhuanxu honored the fallen and received the Five Emperors’ imperial qi and Merit.
• Zhuanxu advanced to the Great Principle Golden Immortal realm as the Heavenly Dao intercepted Merit meant for the Western Teachings, and Tongtian declared that the Interception Sect would guide the remaining four Human Emperors.
