"Wow, this food is delicious. No wonder it costs so much."

She quickly swallowed the meat in her mouth, turned to Li Yue, and asked curiously, "What is this? It's so delicious!"

Li Yue said to Xiao Wu, "This is pork. Try these other dishes too. This is fish, this is lamb, and this is a chicken leg."

Xiao Wu used her chopsticks to try the other dishes. Different meats had different flavors, and under the hands of Nuoding Academy's chef, they took on an entirely new character. With the addition of seasonings and proper heat, they were exceptionally tasty.

She ate even faster now, eating both meat and vegetables. Paired with rice, it was simply perfect.

They waited a full half hour before Yu Xiaogang finally strolled down from the second floor. Beside him was a middle-aged man about the same age, though slightly more handsome.

He was probably the headmaster of Nuoding Academy, who was on good terms with Yu Xiaogang.

Li Yue and Tang San followed Yu Xiaogang to his dormitory. His room was on the top floor of the dormitory building. It was only a small room, but two of its walls were lined with bookshelves. These books were Yu Xiaogang's greatest wealth.

Though it was a belt-type spatial Soul Tool, the true core of the Soul Tool was actually those twenty-four jade stones. The belt merely held them in place, so it could be separated into two belts.

"Thank you, Teacher." Li Yue and Tang San exchanged a glance and accepted them without hesitation. There was no reason not to take them, and Yu Xiaogang certainly did not have good intentions.

Li Yue knew that Yu Xiaogang had taken him as a disciple only to verify his theory that plant Martial Souls could absorb beast Soul Rings.
