Bloodthirsty Little Girl

The sun, a blazing red orb, hung high in the sky, baking the ground and causing heatwaves to shimmer. Some scenery appeared distorted to the eye.

At this moment, most sensible people had retreated indoors to escape the scorching sun. On the sparsely populated streets, two figures, one tall and one short, looked solitary as they walked out of the city gates of Dusk City in the Black Corner Region.

The tall one was unkempt, looking like a beggar. The short one was dressed in a fine, water-blue robe. At first glance, an uninformed observer might think someone was abducting a child!

"You're the one trying to snatch my things!" the little girl's small mouth moved, emitting a clear and pleasant childish voice. There was a hint of killing intent in her voice. Coupled with the simple leopard-skin clothing she wore, the girl exuded a wild, savage aura.

"Your things? My Master just killed this Demonic Beast, so how did it become yours?" Hun Han retorted with a slight curl of his lips and a soft chuckle.

"If I hadn't severely injured it, could your Master have killed it?" the little girl calmly asked back.

"Little girl, are you saying you severely injured it?" Before Hun Han could speak, the Exploding Heaven Gang Leader's eyes gleamed, and he reassessed the little girl before him.

Despite her childish voice and adorable appearance, the girl exuded a very strange aura.

"Yes, its horn was broken, I broke it." The little girl said calmly.

"You're saying you broke its horn?" Hun Han looked at the little girl in astonishment.

The deceased Flame Rhinoceros was a Rank 3 Demonic Beast, possessing combat power comparable to a Great Dou Master. Its horn was also the hardest part of its body. Even Hun Han, with his Primordial Sacred Body, couldn't break its horn. Yet, the little girl before him had done it.

Then, who exactly was this little girl?

Two words surfaced in Hun Han's mind! A smile involuntarily appeared on his lips. He had a good idea of the little girl's origins!

"Are you doubting my strength?" the little girl stared at Hun Han, her eyes filled with a fighting spirit.

"Exploding Heaven Gang?" the little girl murmured.

Hearing this, Hun Han touched his head, feeling utterly embarrassed. His Master was once again tricking a child.

"I have no interest in joining a human gang." the little girl calmly refused.

"Human?" The Exploding Heaven Gang Leader was slightly taken aback. Noticing her choice of words, a flash of insight crossed his eyes.

"Little sister, how about this? I only need the Flame Rhinoceros's fur, and you can have everything else. What do you say?" To prevent the Exploding Heaven Gang Leader from launching into a long speech, Hun Han quickly interjected to negotiate.

"Okay!" The little girl with the light purple hair nodded slightly without even thinking. Although she had severely injured the Flame Rhinoceros, the one who killed it was their Master.
