A spy?
Chen Tianxing had actually used that word. It meant relations between the Human Race and the other races were far from good.
"Is the Holy Spirit Clan, one of the Ten Sacred Clans, part of the Human Race?" Chen Changan asked.
"No."
"So the Human Race doesn't rule the Heavenly Derivation Continent."
"No wonder relations between the Human Race and the other races are strained."
"If the Human Race ruled this continent, the others probably wouldn't dare act this way."

"Their standing isn't too bad. The Human Race may not rule the continent, but they founded the Two Palaces and Three Divine Halls."
"The trouble is, the Two Palaces and Three Divine Halls have taken a great deal from the other races."
"Those races don't dare touch the Two Palaces and Three Divine Halls, so they go after other humans instead."
"There's constant friction between the Human Race and the other races."
"Other races rarely appear in human territory, and humans naturally aren't welcome in theirs, either."
"If Qi Yunhe isn't human, his main reason for coming here is probably to become the lord of Heavenly Martial City's disciple."
"If he becomes the city lord's disciple, then..."
Chen Tianxing didn't know how to finish that thought, and he didn't want to. Someone from another race could disguise himself as human, then become the next lord of Heavenly Martial City.
No one could predict what he would do then, what he might do to the Human Race, or how much harm he might cause.
"How are relations within the Human Race?"
"Why do I get the feeling everyone just sweeps the snow from their own doorstep?" Chen
