Background
The Beast God was an aberration born from the Malevolent Qi that had accumulated in the Southern Border for over ten thousand years. Neither human, ghost, demon, nor spirit, he inherited immense power from heaven and earth's malevolence and could command all Fierce Beasts under Heaven 26.
Linglong created him while pursuing immortality. The Beast God came to love his creator, but Linglong did not return that love; after he killed someone and she witnessed it, the conflict between them escalated. Linglong sealed him in the Demon Suppressing Ancient Cave for ten thousand years rather than allowing his rampage to engulf the world 26 117.
Linglong later devised a way to strip away his immortality: she left behind her own body so that, if the Beast God merged with it to escape the seal, he would lose his indestructible body and could be slain 53 117.
Appearance
The Beast God is repeatedly described as a slender, bewitching, and androgynous figure with strange or enchanting eyes, surrounded by dense Malevolent Qi 135 273.
- His original form carries a powerful storm of Malevolent Qi and an otherworldly, demonic beauty.
- At the height of his fusion with Asura Power and Ghost King's body, he mutates into an inhuman creature with tentacles, spikes, beast pupils, three heads, and six arms 162.
- After emerging through Linglong's preserved body, he outwardly takes on a human form, though his thoughts remain destructive and inhuman 280.
Personality
The Beast God is driven by an innate, overwhelming killing intent. His worldview is fundamentally alien to humanity: he cannot understand why people sacrifice themselves for unrelated strangers, why humans live in communities, or why possessing a human body does not make him human 159 171 280.
His obsession with Linglong defines nearly every major decision he makes. He interprets her distance, gratitude toward Ye Changfeng, and pursuit of immortality with Ye Changfeng as betrayal. This jealousy repeatedly drives him to rage, desperation, and vows to kill Ye Changfeng 137 185 208.
Despite his cruelty, he recognizes Ye Changfeng as a worthy opponent. He does not understand Ye Changfeng's self-sacrifice, but comes to respect the resolve behind it 171.
Abilities & Skills
Malevolent Qi Manipulation

Command of Fierce Beasts
The Beast God is the ruler of the Fierce Beasts under Heaven.

- Rides the fierce beast Taotie during his confrontation with the Green Robe Sect Leader 75.
Source of Malevolence and Asura Power
After his apparent death, the Beast God's Source of Malevolence remained behind and was collected by the Ghost King Sect.
- Reformed his consciousness and body from the collected Source of Malevolence 151.
- Absorbed Asura Power from the Four Spirits Blood Array, raising his strength to the Earthly Immortal Realm 151 153.

- Ye Changfeng / Green Robe Sect Leader — Principal enemy and the only opponent the Beast God considers his equal. Their rivalry is intensified by the Beast God's jealousy over Linglong; Ye Changfeng defeats him in both the revealed future and the altered present timeline 75 159 280 281.
