Kusana’s expedition to Elegia ended Uta’s illusion and Tot Musica’s threat, while Madara was resurrected and Navy Headquarters’ efforts to infiltrate the Land of Grass began to unravel. The Land of Grass caught Borsalino posing as a teacher, and Vegapunk exposed Kabuto’s cover as Sengoku was arrested.

• Kusana accepted fleeing Navy personnel into the Land of Grass and entrusted Zephyr with keeping them in line, while Luffy left for overseas work after Garp forced him to go.
• Kusana’s party traveled to Elegia for Charlotte Linlin’s banquet as Uta drew the concert audience into her dream world and Madara joined her plan.
• Madara killed a Celestial Dragon, forcing Kusana, Gion, and Kake to oppose him as Uta’s plan endangered everyone trapped in the illusion.
• Uta summoned Tot Musica, and Shanks, the Marines, and the Land of Grass forces confronted the monster across reality and Uta’s world.
• Madara used Susanoo to help defeat Tot Musica and break the illusion, then collapsed after asking Uta whether she wanted to keep singing.

Shimura Danzō helped the World Government assemble a coalition against the Land of Grass, while Kusana and his allies turned the conflict into a trap that destroyed Marineford and exposed the Celestial Dragons. The World Government tried to negotiate, but the Land of Grass did not withdraw, and Madara Uchiha appeared before the Gorosei.

• Shimura Danzō framed Sengoku and Kabuto as Land of Grass spies, imprisoned them, and rallied the Marines to fight the Land of Grass.
• Danzō captured Black Zetsu and arranged a public trial, while Kabuto, Mujie, and Black Zetsu revealed that Danzō was a close friend of Kusana and that Hiruzen and the advisors were involved in the scheme.
• The World Government gathered pirates and allied nations at Marineford, and Whitebeard agreed to join in exchange for Ace’s return and compensation for his crew.
• Danzō put Black Zetsu on trial as Kusana’s fleet arrived, but Madara’s first meteor was shattered and a second threatened the gathered forces.
• Tobirama Senju confronted Danzō and his former Konoha allies, while Navy traitors arrived and the Gorosei prepared the Holy Mother Flame to stop the meteor.
