Exam Turmoil

What else could they do? Life had to go on. Naruto worked hard in every other area, and everyone could see how much progress he had made.

Even in the cultural studies classes he hated most, after Sasuke and Nanfeng had tutored him, he had managed to reach the middle of the class. But the Clone Technique was something he truly couldn't manage.

Whenever he tried to use the Clone Technique, it felt as though the chakra inside him was out of control. The clone he produced looked like a person, but was completely useless.

At that level, there was no way he could pass the exam.

"Don't worry. We're good friends. Even if you can't become a ninja, I'm not going to look down on you, right?" Sasuke said, pulling Naruto over with a mischievous grin.

Over the years, his personality had changed a lot. At least he wasn't as gloomy as he used to be.

"Just get lost. Even if I can't become a ninja, I'll shine in some other field. You haven't seen the Ninjutsu I came up with. If I use it, it'll definitely have an unexpected effect," Naruto said proudly, patting his chest.

Nanfeng seemed to think of something, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

If he remembered correctly, the Ninjutsu Naruto had developed was probably the Sexy Jutsu. He had to admit, it really was... the most powerful Jutsu in the whole story.

What was Kaguya Otsutsuki? The Sage of Six Paths' mother, the first being to use and give birth to chakra. Even a being of that caliber could be affected by the Sexy Jutsu, so just imagine what it could do to everyone else.

Old man Third Hokage, Jiraiya, Kakashi, and other nobodies like them would all be taken out in an instant by this Jutsu.

"Then I look forward to seeing you use that move to amaze everyone at the exam..." Nanfeng said, patting Naruto on the shoulder.

After training, they went home as usual. But after they left, a figure began following Naruto partway along the road...

Maybe this Dead Last can be my target for stealing the Scroll of Seals. This is a mission from Lord Orochimaru. I have to do a good job.

The person following Naruto was Teacher Mizuki, of course. Ever since he had become one of Orochimaru's followers, he hadn't gotten a single decent mission. Now that he had finally received an order from Lord Orochimaru, he was determined to carry it out properly.

The students at the Ninja Academy were all studying to become ninjas. This guy couldn't even use the Clone Technique. Becoming a ninja would be a joke for him. But if Mizuki used that as bait, he ought to be able to fool Naruto easily, right?

What Mizuki didn't know was that Naruto had noticed him following.

To avoid alerting him, Naruto didn't say anything. Only after he got home did he use the special way the three of them had to contact each other and tell Nanfeng and Sasuke what had happened.

"Looks like he's up to something. But it might not be a bad thing for you. Let's wait and see," Nanfeng replied quickly.

Sasuke was a little worried, too. After saying a couple of things, he went off to take care of his own business, leaving Naruto alone to think about what might happen next.

But Naruto only kept thinking for a moment before giving up. When you ran into trouble, you should just sleep on it. That was the best way Nanfeng had taught him to deal with life's problems.

Of course, Naruto Uzumaki was pretty thorough about following that advice. In practice, it meant he never worried about anything.

Early the next morning, Nanfeng went out to wait for Hinata. For once, he didn't use a Shadow Clone to take the exam for him. Though all the teachers at the school already knew that he used Shadow Clones to attend class.

After all, Nanfeng had appeared in two places at once. Other than Shadow Clones, there didn't seem to be any other explanation. He didn't have a twin brother or anything like that.

Besides, the other place he had appeared was the Ninja Hospital. Every ninja wanted to get on good terms with the Medical Ninjas, so the school had turned a blind eye to Nanfeng's behavior.

As usual, he walked into the classroom with Hinata and immediately heard Inuzuka Kiba's voice.

"Dead Last, today's the Clone Technique exam. Your grades are at the bottom of the class, sure, but I remember you're completely hopeless at the Clone Technique, too. Is someone going to fail to graduate today? Who could it be? Oh, right. It's Uzumaki Naruto."

His words made quite a few people burst out laughing. Naruto's expression turned a little grim, and even Sasuke was getting angry.

"Don't worry. Naruto's done really well in other areas. At the very least, he's smarter than you lot when he skips class," Nanfeng said, patting Naruto on the shoulder as he smiled at the people who were still making fun of him.

Maybe Nanfeng's reputation was too intimidating. The laughter died away completely within moments, and Naruto gave him a grateful nod.

What Naruto didn't know was that Nanfeng just felt a little bad about stealing his future wife, so he wanted to make it up to him...

But there was still the miko Shion from the Land of Demons in the future. That little girl was pretty good, too. She'd be perfect as Naruto's wife...

While Nanfeng's mind wandered, the Ninja Academy's graduation exam finally began. The test was, naturally, Naruto's nightmare: the Clone Technique.

Nanfeng used the Shadow Clone Jutsu with ease. His clones filled the entire classroom, letting him show off in a big way.

Unable to stand it, Sasuke used the Shadow Clone Jutsu as well. Unfortunately, he didn't have much chakra, so he only managed to make six clones. Even so, that was enough to draw everyone's attention.

The other students gradually passed their exams. At last, it was Naruto's turn. He was still the same as ever, living by the principle that even a dog wouldn't use the Clone Technique. And so, he put on quite a show.

"That expression... Hinata, come over here. What's next is a little too mature for kids..." Nanfeng quickly pulled Hinata over beside him and covered her eyes with his hand.

Children shouldn't see this kind of thing. They'd get styes in their eyes.

Uchiha Sasuke: So I'm not a kid, then? I guess the bond between brothers really can't compare to a woman.

"Ninjutsu: Sexy Jutsu." At Naruto's words, a huge cloud of smoke appeared, then slowly cleared. When the figure inside came into view, everyone fell into a daze.

"That Jutsu really packs a punch. No, I mean... that chakra concentration is really white..." Nanfeng rubbed his chin, staring a little blankly at Naruto's Sexy Jutsu.
