Background / History

Naruto is the son of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki. During the Nine-Tails’ rampage, Minato sealed half of the Nine-Tails’ Chakra inside Naruto to protect Konoha; both parents died in the aftermath. 43

As Konoha’s Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, Naruto grows up as an orphan subjected to severe fear and discrimination. Despite this treatment, he remains determined to be recognized by the village and to become Hokage. 26 338
