Team 7 Officially Debuts

Watching Sasuke, who had always been stern and unsmiling, now wear a bizarre and sickly grin on his face made Kakashi feel as if the world had undergone a drastic change.

This was a dream, right? It had to be a dream! Where had that aloof, cool handsome guy gone? Could this be the aftereffect of spending too much time with Naruto? Teacher, I have failed you!

However, Nanfeng did not join in their antics, which at least let Kakashi breathe a sigh of relief—at least there was still one normal person in the team.

"So, Kakashi-sensei, want to try a poison I brewed myself?" Amid Kakashi's relieved gaze, a smoke-bomb-like object appeared in Nanfeng's hand, but it was painted with a large skull, suggesting it contained no ordinary poison.

"Do you think this will really work?" From a nearby bush, Naruto and Sasuke watched the training ground situation with some concern.

"Wind Release: Small Breakthrough!" Sasuke timed it perfectly, launching a Wind Release: Small Breakthrough behind the charging Naruto. It was a weakened version of the Great Breakthrough Technique, with much less power, but it still had some effect in certain scenarios.

Like now, it gave Naruto's speed a boost. Naruto carried a massive shuriken, and Kakashi didn't hesitate to leap aside.

But not far away, a second Nanfeng appeared. His hand seals were fast, and an Earth Wall completely blocked Kakashi's path, forcing him to pull out a kunai and clash head-on with Naruto's shuriken.

The moment they made contact, Kakashi's pupils slightly contracted. Such strength!

"It's not that easy, is it, Kakashi-sensei?" Nanfeng's body turned to smoke as he looked toward a corner of the training ground.

The Kakashi engulfed by the fireball turned into a log, while the real Kakashi emerged thoughtfully from the corner.

"Your teamwork is excellent. You pass this test. I have some business to attend to, so I need to head back. Use the rest of the time as you see fit. Assemble tomorrow morning for the mission."
