  • Jin killed Fu and Torune, copied their traits, and found a Root scroll that named him as Danzo’s killer and marked Root’s base.
  • Jin forged a Cloud Village mark on the scroll and accused the Yamanaka and Aburame clans of conspiring with the Cloud Village, so Fugaku ordered Uchiha forces to take control of both clans.
Chapters 51–75 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 51Tsukuyomi! Righteous Kin Slaying

Uchiha Itachi returned to the Uchiha District and used his Mangekyō Sharingan to make the gathered clan members believe they were triumphing over the Leaf. He entered the Ancestral Shrine to confront Fugaku, but just as he lowered his blade toward his father, someone interrupted them.

  • Fugaku agreed to lead the Uchiha rebellion, while privately expecting the clan to be destroyed.
  • The Uchiha clan members celebrated their planned attack and searched for Itachi, who arrived from outside the village.
  • Itachi revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan and trapped the gathered clan members in an illusion of victory.
  • Itachi entered the Ancestral Shrine, where Fugaku revealed that he also had the Mangekyō and warned Itachi not to harm Sasuke or Jin.

Ch. 53Single-Handedly Crushing Susanoo—You Had Your Chance and Wasted It

Jin fought Itachi at the Uchiha shrine, overcoming his Amaterasu and Susanoo with his light-based invulnerability and a powered-up Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm. He defeated Itachi and revealed that his questions had been a chance for Itachi, not an attempt to recruit him.

  • Fugaku tried to disguise Jin and Itachi's fight as sparring, while Mikoto and little Sasuke interrupted them.
  • Itachi knocked little Sasuke unconscious, then attacked Jin with Amaterasu, but the flames passed through Jin's light-transformed body.
  • Itachi developed Susanoo and dismissed Jin's ordinary Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palms as useless against its defense.
  • Jin infused a massive Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm with two-ninths of the Nine-Tails' power and shattered Susanoo's bones.
  • Jin caught the weakened Itachi with a red Chakra hand and told him he had only been giving him a chance before clenching his fist.

Ch. 54Shisui Takes the Stage, Kotoamatsukami

Jin defeated Itachi and confronted the masked Obito, who tried to force him to release Itachi so the clan could escape Tsukuyomi. Jin refused, and the chapter ended with Shisui appearing and revealing Kotoamatsukami.

  • Jin smashed Itachi’s Susanoo with a slap, leaving Itachi unconscious as Obito watched from outside the Uchiha District.
  • Obito appeared before Jin and pleaded with him not to kill Itachi, warning that the clan was trapped in Itachi’s Tsukuyomi.

  • Itachi recognized the spinning pattern behind Shisui’s bandages as Kotoamatsukami.

Ch. 55Summoning: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, Beating One-vs-Seven to a Pulp

  • Jin copied Obito's golden Summoning: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path trait and considered summoning the statue.

Ch. 56Joining Forces

Uchiha Obito tried to recruit Uchiha Jin, but Jin resisted his Kamui and wounded him with a similar spatial ability, forcing him to retreat. Jin then copied traits from Obito and Uchiha Itachi and fused them into a new gold Mangekyō Sharingan trait.

  • Obito tried to abduct Jin with Kamui, but Jin's spatial power blocked the transfer.
  • Jin used a Kamui-like vortex to tear off Obito's right arm and half his shoulder.

Ch. 57With Me, I'm Invincible—Uchiha, Subdued

Jin discovered that Three Feet Before Me let him control a space around himself and turn moonlight into sunlight, greatly increasing his potential Chakra gains. When the Uchiha demanded a coup and the Third Elder threatened Fugaku, Jin crushed the elder’s faction and declared himself in charge of the clan.

  • Jin activated Three Feet Before Me, condensed moonlight into a warm orb, and realized he could use it as sunlight to gain Chakra for over twenty-five hours a day.
  • The furious Uchiha called for a march on Leaf and the Hokage Building, while Fugaku hesitated over whether to lead a coup.
  • The Third Elder pressured Fugaku to agree to a coup and threatened to replace him as clan head.

  • Jin declared that he was taking charge of the Uchiha Clan and challenged anyone who disagreed.

Ch. 58Coup? No, a Revolution

Uchiha Jin subdued the Hawk Faction and persuaded the clan that they needed to take control of the Leaf’s economy rather than wait for the village to destroy them. The Uchiha rallied behind his Mangekyō and his plan to seize power, which he called restoring order—or a revolution.

  • Jin asked whether anyone objected to his rule, then decreed that the captured Hawk Faction members would be imprisoned instead of executed.
  • The Second Elder recognized Jin’s eyes as the Mangekyō Sharingan, and the Uchiha clan members welcomed him as their leader.

  • Danzo survived Jin’s opening attack with the help of a medical ninja, and the Second Elder led the Uchiha in pursuit of Root.
  • Jin followed the pursuit, planning to expose Danzo’s plot, while Danzo pretended to be dead and hoped to lure the Uchiha to the Hokage Building.
  • Root headed for the Hokage Building, drawing the attention of Konoha’s guards and spreading word that the Uchiha were chasing them.
  • Hiruzen and the other clan heads waited outside the Hokage Building, believing Root’s return meant the Uchiha had been defeated.
  • Root warned Hiruzen that the Uchiha were attacking as hundreds of Uchiha surrounded the building, and Jin ordered them to execute the traitors.

Ch. 61The Third Hokage's Contingency: Enma

  • Hiruzen began forming hand seals and prepared to rely on Enma.

Ch. 62At Home, Hiruzen—Enma Is Setting Sail Tonight

  • Danzo’s ninjutsu and Chakra-coated shuriken vanished or broke before they could harm Jin.
  • Jin tore Danzo’s bandaged arm off, and Danzo desperately urged Hiruzen to kill Jin.
  • Hiruzen summoned Enma and transformed him into the Adamantine Staff before charging at Jin.

Ch. 63A Whole Armful of Sharingan? Konoha's World Changed That Day

  • Danzo confessed that he and the Advisors had stolen inheritance and support payments from orphans and used Root to silence them.
  • Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura attacked Danzo, but Jin protected him and accused the Advisors of being corrupt parasites.
  • Jin crushed Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura with his Chakra, killing them before Konoha’s leaders and clan heads.
  • Jin fused the traits he copied from the two Advisors and threw the helpless Danzo to the ground.
  • Jin stood over Danzo and vowed to expose the stolen eyes and cut the rot from Konoha, declaring that restoring order began that night.

Ch. 65Discussing the Aftermath, Taking on the Hokage

After Danzo and his allies were defeated, Jin confronted Sarutobi Hiruzen while the Uchiha and other clans demanded justice and concessions. The chapter ended with Jin declaring that he was taking on the Hokage.

  • The crowd condemned Danzo as Jin copied his Wood Release Cells trait and upgraded his own cells through stacking.
  • Fugaku and the Second Elder prepared to act against the Third Hokage, but Sarutobi Hiruzen admitted negligence and thanked the Uchiha.

Ch. 67The Third Hokage Loses Control of the Finances—and the Azure Beast of the Leaf's Challenge

Jin overwhelmed the elite Anbu and Root shinobi, used their traits to raise the Flying Thunder God Technique to a limitless teleportation range, and forced Sarutobi Hiruzen to surrender control of the Leaf’s finances to the Uchiha. As the clans began moving to support the Uchiha, a thunderous challenge from the Azure Beast interrupted the gathering.

  • Jin swept aside elite Anbu and Root shinobi, collected their traits, and fused them into the Flying Thunder God Technique, raising it to level 10 with unlimited range.
  • Jin used his remaining traits on Three Feet Before Me, but noticed no apparent change.
  • Nara Shikaku urged Sarutobi Hiruzen to accept the loss, and Hiruzen agreed to hand the Leaf’s financial authority to the Uchiha.
  • Jin insisted the Uchiha should control the finances and have the final say, and Hiruzen ordered the finance ledgers, seals, and keys brought to him.

  • Jin talked with Guy for ten minutes and successfully copied the Eight Gates trait.

Ch. 69Morning Peacock Comes Through, a Broken Trait

Jin learned that the Trait System could copy incomplete traits, then challenged Might Guy and used his Three Feet Before Me domain to withstand Guy’s attacks. Guy opened the Sixth Gate and broke through the domain with Morning Peacock, but Jin revealed he had not been standing still to take the blows.

  • Jin learned that his incomplete traits could come from the system’s ellipses and asked Guy to fight him.
  • Guy charged Jin with Great Leaf Whirlwind, but Jin’s Three Feet Before Me domain stopped the kick short of his body.
  • Guy opened the Eight Gates up to the Sixth Gate, alarming Sarutobi Hiruzen, Nara Shikaku, and Hyuga Hiashi with his power.
  • Guy unleashed Morning Peacock, striking Jin’s domain with a barrage of flaming punches until it broke.

Ch. 70The True Eight Gates, the Hardworking Genius

Jin withstood Guy’s Seventh Gate attack with Three Feet Before Me and Repulsion Force, destroying the Hokage Building as Guy was thrown into its ruins. Guy rose again and began opening the Eighth Gate, while Kakashi arrived and realized Guy had meant to save the move for him.

Ch. 71Adamantine Sealing Chains: Hard-Countering Eight Gates Guy

Jin stopped Might Guy’s Eighth Gate attack with Adamantine Sealing Chains, then used Three Feet Before Me and Wood Release Cells to heal him. He demanded that the Third Hokage hand over his Financial Authority or die.

  • As Guy prepared to unleash the Eighth Gate’s final attack, Jin’s Adamantine Sealing Chains pierced and restrained him, extinguishing his chakra flames.
  • The Third Hokage, Fugaku, and Kakashi recognized the chains as an Uzumaki sealing technique and wondered how Jin had learned it.
  • Guy collapsed into the crater, gravely injured after opening the Gate of Death, and Jin received notice that he had defeated Might Guy and was copying his trait.

  • Jin appeared behind them, hovering in midair, and called them country bumpkins.

Ch. 74Nanoscale Insect Control

  • Nara Shikaku urged the gathered clans to cooperate with the Uchiha investigation, but most clan heads decided to stall rather than return embezzled funds.
  • Jin discovered that Three Feet Before Me could form steps beneath his feet, allowing him to float.
  • Torune's poisonous insects failed to breach Jin's barrier, while Fu's Mind Body Switch Technique failed and left him badly injured.
  • Jin used Shinra Tensei to hurl Torune and Fu into a tree, then copied Nanoscale Insect Control and Perception from them.
  • Jin took control of Torune's nanoscale insects, and one crawled up Torune's ankle and began devouring him.

Ch. 75Not Convinced? Take Them Down! The Root Organization Is the Target

After killing Yamanaka Fu and Aburame Torune, Jin gained new traits and found a scroll pointing to the Root Organization’s base. He urged Fugaku to use the attempted assassination as grounds to seize the Yamanaka and Aburame clans, then set off for Root’s base.

  • Jin killed Yamanaka Fu and Aburame Torune, plundered their traits, and fused Poison Resistance with Perception to gain Perception Domain.
  • Jin considered the Mind Body Switch Technique and his need to strengthen his body, then found a Root scroll naming him as Danzo’s killer and marking Root’s base.
  • Fugaku learned that several clans were offering only trivial financial contributions, and asked Jin how the Uchiha should respond.
  • Jin forged a Cloud Village mark on the scroll and claimed the Yamanaka and Aburame clans had colluded with the Cloud Village to assassinate him.
  • Fugaku ordered Uchiha forces to take control of the Yamanaka and Aburame clans, while Jin vanished and headed toward Root’s base.
