Gran: Was This a Punishment for Me?

As Lord King of All and the Grand Minister departed, the imagined uproar never came. The Void Realm was quiet, and every face was filled with fear.

Gran had not expected Lord King of All's punishment to be this.

He thought that if Universe 7 lost—

then Universe 7's Mortal Index would have to rise from its current 3.50 to 4.50. That did not seem too bad.

However...

Gran suddenly thought of something, and his expression turned unpleasant.

He had said he would raise Universe 7 to first place.

But under Lord King of All's punishment, if Universe 1 rose by another point, then for Universe 7 to rank first, he would have to raise it by one more point as well!

"Why do I feel like the Grand Minister isn't punishing everyone else, but punishing me instead?!"

Gran looked up at the spot where the Grand Minister and the others had left. When the Grand Minister departed just now, he had given Gran a meaningful look.

Could the Grand Minister and Lord King of All really be that cruel?

"Lord Gran, Lord Champa and the others are coming down," Hit said from beside him.

Gran stood atop the Ice Field. Snapping back to his senses, he saw Beerus and the others move, leaping down from the Viewing Platform.

As everyone landed on the Ice Field, a series of tapping sounds rang out.

"Gran, you did an absolutely amazing job!"

Beerus walked over and excitedly bumped Gran's chest with his fist before giving him a hug.

Whis also said approvingly, "Indeed, you were impressive. Just as expected of the disciple I trained."

The Old Kai let out a lecherous laugh. "Good thing Gran was here. Otherwise, we would have had to accept punishment alongside those guys."

Their tones made it
