"You can tell from the smell that Gran made this. Gran, that was pretty inconsiderate of you, not waiting for us."
Vados treated the place like her own home and sat down at the table as well.
At the moment, only Gran, Beerus, and Broly had an enormous, unknown fish placed before them.
Gran looked at the huge fish in front of him, then at Whis and Vados's empty seats.
In the end, he sighed. He could only share his fish with Whis and Vados, then continued grilling more meat.
"Whis, why did it take you so long to come back this time?" Gran asked curiously over his shoulder.
Beerus kept eating while pricking up his ears. He also wanted to know what Whis and the other Angels had discussed.
"What else could it have been besides your little matter?"
Whis did not hide anything and told them about the topics he had discussed with the other Angels.
"Gran, you have no idea. My brothers and sisters are practically dying of envy. They all said it would be wonderful if you were their disciple."
Vados took a bite of Gran's grilled fish, then looked up and spoke sourly.
"Hmph, Gran was born in Universe 7, and he'll die a ghost of Universe 7. They can stop dreaming."
"..."
Gran's face immediately darkened. What kind of thing was this cat saying? What did he mean by dying?
Whis and Vados were amused by Beerus's words as well.
Vados teased, "Lord Beerus, I've been coveting Gran for so long. How about you let Gran become my disciple too?"
"Ask Whis. Ask Gran. If they agree, I have no objections."
This question again. Beerus curled his lip and buried his head in the grilled fish, taking huge bites without paying Vados any further
