Hell Princess Angelique, Containing Freddy

This woman had quite a temper.

Her appearance reminded Li Dan of Angelique, the princess of Hell, but demons seemed to need human bodies as vessels to enter the mortal world.

This was a world of nightmares, and she had emerged from the Hell Passage, so that should have been her true form.

Of course, that was only speculation. He could not be certain.

Li Dan simply watched her. Her purpose differed from that of the cenobites; she seemed to have come out just for some fresh air.

She even beat or killed the cenobites on a whim.

This reminded Li Dan of the chronology of The Frighteners, in which Pinhead eventually ruled almost all of Hell.

Hell Princess Angelique had been deeply dissatisfied with Pinhead's rule.

In the end, they had even become enemies.

Unfortunately, Angelique had been no match for Pinhead and had instead been transformed into a cenobite herself.

The chronology could not be trusted entirely. With Leviathan still around, Pinhead could only remain subordinate.

By now, Li Dan had searched the area.

It seemed Freddy himself had to be the core of the entire nightmare.

With that settled, Li Dan no longer needed to hide. The cenobites had joined forces and driven Freddy back to his lair.

While two sides fought, a third stood to reap the rewards.

This was exactly the outcome Li Dan wanted.

Angelique saw things differently. If the cenobites captured Freddy and took control of the nightmare, Pinhead's rule over Hell would only grow stronger.

His influence in Hell had already eclipsed hers, and he had even begun issuing orders.

None of this was what she wanted to see.

Angelique was even considering giving Freddy a hand.
