Zach felt ready to collapse. Those stairs weren't meant for humans; he'd almost missed a step and fallen.

The wolves, hyenas, and other animals were all looking for a way out of the courtyard. Only Bruce and the other dogs kept barking at the house.
Zach stared at the animals filling the courtyard and asked blankly,
"Why are there so many animals? Did this ghost run a zoo when it was alive?"

With that song playing, even the most terrifying atmosphere was washed almost completely away.
