American Police vs. Bat Person: Attack Helicopter Strafes

On the Highway

A large number of police cars surrounded the vicinity of the pipeline, each officer drawing their sidearm and cocking it, ready for anything.

A bright light shone down from the sky.

An armed helicopter slowly descended, and the police officers on board adjusted their machine guns, aiming them at the pipeline.

The sheer scale of the operation stunned passersby.

Some even stopped their cars to take out their phones and record, while others wanted to get closer to see what was happening inside.

At this moment, the police began to broadcast their demands.

Simultaneously, they tried to contact the officers who had entered the pipeline earlier, but received no response.

Just as the deputy chief was considering whether to dispatch a small team to investigate, a roar from within the pipeline cut off his thoughts.

At this point, several police officers on the front lines were infinitely close to the pipeline's opening.

Their colleagues behind them and the armed helicopter gave them a great sense of security.

The first American Police officer cautiously peered down.

A dark figure rushed out, carrying a human head. The officer who had just peeked out fell to the ground.

The officers stared at the monster before them with wide eyes, wondering what kind of creature it was.

The Bat Person was enraged. A thin layer of green skin beneath its neck stretched out with its anger, like a lizard hunting, making the Bat Person even more hideous.

The deputy chief looked at the Bat Person, hesitated for a second, and then gave the order to fire.

"Open fire!"

Pistols, submachine guns, countless rounds of ammunition poured down.

The Bat Person dodged and weaved, fleeing into a haystack. It ignored the gunshots, its speed allowing it to break through the barrage of fire.

The searchlight from the armed helicopter continuously illuminated its position.

The machine gunner on the helicopter aimed and fired rapidly, the dense bullets like a fiery serpent devouring the Bat Person.

The Bat Person raised its hand to block, but the bullets passed through its body, not turning it into a pulp, only causing minor damage.

If one looked closely, they would notice a faint black mist generated as the bullets passed through the Bat Person's body. It was this black mist that allowed it to be immune to the bullets' attack.

"Hiss!"

The Bat Person realized the unknown object in the sky was not as powerful as it had thought. It had intended to flee due to the overwhelming numbers, but now...

With a roar, a pair of huge bat wings sprouted from its back, and it charged towards the armed helicopter, braving the gunfire.

By the time the pilot tried to ascend, it was too late.

Under the full moon.

Daley had just arrived by car. As Li Dan opened the door, he saw the helicopter fall from the sky out of control from afar.

The violent explosion and flames were clearly visible even from hundreds of meters away.

One could only say that the Bat Person was no longer an ordinary carbon-based life form.

If the helicopter had maintained its distance, an Evil Spirit Wendigo surrounded would likely have been captured.

But who could have predicted that the Bat Person could fly?

Li Dan saw the Bat Person under the moonlight. With a flap of its wings, it swooped down towards the police. Each dive took away lives.

It couldn't be allowed to continue killing like this.

If they all died, it would be his and Daley's turn.

Li Dan fused with the Evil Spirit Wendigo and left a step ahead of Daley. Only after blending into the darkness did he unleash his full speed.

Meanwhile, on the highway.

The onlookers who had come to watch had long since fled in terror.

Only the police remained, unable to go anywhere. The Bat Person was vengeful, and the scene had turned into a slaughterhouse, a one-sided massacre.

Li Dan approached and hid behind a police car, not acting rashly. The Bat Person's ability to fly was a significant disadvantage for him.

Fortunately, the Ghost Card could be summoned instantly. The location where the card appeared was the location where the monster appeared, and he could use this to his advantage.

Just then, he noticed something and looked under the car.

The Soul Severing Clown was hiding under the car. Li Dan had ordered it to scout. It couldn't defeat the Bat Monster, so there was no need to go up and suffer. Being contained wasn't death, and its brain was still functioning.

"Art, come out. You go distract the Bat Monster."

The Clown Art put on a smile uglier than a cry, obediently crawled out from under the car, took a hammer from a plastic bag, and charged forward without hesitation.

The Bat Person was in the middle of hunting and was about to attack the police officer in front of it when its head was suddenly struck by a hammer.

It slowly turned around. A black and white clown had appeared before it, giving it a friendly smile as if performing.

The surviving police officers caught their breath and didn't forget to remind their savior.

"You, clown over there, you'd better run fast."

The Bat Person let out a ferocious grin, walked up to the Clown, and slapped it.

The Clown's head spun 360 degrees, but strangely, the Clown didn't die.

Li Dan had already crept to the rear. He didn't advance further, and a Diamond Four appeared in his hand.

This position wasn't good; another officer spotted him.

The Deputy Chief made a gesture, signaling Li Dan to leave quickly. Li Dan didn't understand and made a shushing gesture to the officer.

The Bat Person had already raised the Soul Severing Clown, preparing to tear it to pieces. Even when lifted, Art still had a smile on his face.

The Ghost Card in his hand flew out silently.

Following a thought in Li Dan's mind.

A terrifying monster covered in bone spurs appeared out of nowhere above the Bat Person, pinning it down and hugging it tightly as its bone spurs violently expanded.

It was like a mutated hedgehog person, its bone spurs able to retract and extend at will.

The Evil Spirit Wendigo's bone spurs pierced the Bat Person's entire body, including its pair of newly unfurled bat wings.

Art scrambled away, but he couldn't crawl fast because his lower body had also been pierced by bone spurs, forcing him to crawl.

Li Dan breathed a sigh of relief at the sight.

The Deputy Chief witnessed everything, looking at Li Dan with apprehension, ready to draw his gun and fire.

"I'm an Exorcist. This monster is my containment, you might not believe it, but that's the truth. Besides, I saved you all, so you shouldn't point a gun at my head, right?"

The Deputy Chief hesitated, then lowered his gun, choosing to believe Li Dan.

Looking at the Evil Spirit Wendigo, if it had wanted to kill him, there would have been no need for this. Plus, it had indeed saved him.

"Thank you."

Li Dan stepped forward to check the situation. He found that the Bat Person wasn't dead, but it couldn't break free from the Evil Spirit Wendigo's embrace, nor could it break through its defenses.

If the Bat Person had truly taken to the skies, even Li Dan would have been helpless.

The Bat Person's flight altitude was much higher than an armed helicopter's.

The surviving police officers were in a panic.

At the critical moment, the Deputy Chief stepped forward to stabilize the situation and informed everyone of Li Dan's identity as an Exorcist, which finally calmed things down.

It was only then that Li Dan realized this seemingly plump middle-aged man was actually the Deputy Chief of the police station.

"Deputy Chief, I'm planning to take this monster away for containment. Do you have any objections?"

The Deputy Chief glanced at the Evil Spirit Wendigo, which was as sturdy as a small mountain, covered in vicious bone spurs, and the Bat Person struggling in its embrace. He then flashed an exceptionally friendly smile.

"Sir, you can handle it however you wish. I have no objections. Oh, and may I have your contact information?"

Li Dan looked at the fawning Deputy Chief and smiled.

"Of course."

By the time Daley drove over, the situation had already been resolved. When he heard from the officers that Li Dan was an Exorcist, his gaze towards him changed.

He had initially disliked his sister being with this person, but now he had a new idea
