Li Dan considered them decent abilities.
Shadow Step allowed Diana to move freely through the shadows, making it difficult for others to notice her presence.
The force that had lifted Li Dan into the air earlier was probably related to Malice.
As for Fear Devour, it likely consumed the fear, emotions, or souls of primates.
Assimilation and Skin Swap were probably connected. The evil spirit had used Diana's body to be reborn, gradually assimilating it into a vessel most suitable for itself.
But because she suffered from photosensitivity, the demon had wanted to swap skins.
Yet changing skins was difficult. Over time, the evil spirit had grown dependent on Diana's body and could not bear to abandon it.
Until Li Dan appeared...
There was something else.

Li Dan gave her a lazy look and continued watching the movie.
Emma appeared in the frame, though he had suddenly entered while holding a new doll.
Li Dan glanced at the doll.
Oh, wasn't this Hala Shao?
No, Emma, why had he brought this thing home?
The doll was short, about as tall as Li Dan's calf. It wore hip-hop clothes and a blue cap. Its hair, visible beneath the brim, was blond, and its face looked like that of a child.
"Emma, where did he get this doll?"
Emma held up the doll and said,
"I saw a news report on TV saying that a murderer had died in a toy store. When I went there, some dolls had just been taken apart, so I picked one up and brought it back. Is this doll strange?"
Picking up a doll was one thing. Going to see the murder scene was another.
Li Dan shook his head. "Not strange. I've just seen this series of dolls on TV before."
Emma understood what Li Dan meant. He handed the doll to him and said, "It's for you, hey brother."
Li Dan took the doll. With that appearance, it could only be from Child's Play.
He had run into rather a lot of doll-related incidents lately.
Annabelle, Dead Silence, Child's Play.
He had encountered three in a row, and Emma had brought two of them home.
Li Dan did not know whether Emma was a lucky star or a harbinger of bad luck.

Jennifer raised the camera and asked,

During the pursuit, the murderer had fled into a toy store in a panic. On the verge of death, he had used a spell to transfer his soul into a toy, creating Chucky.
Its combat strength seemed average. It was just that the detective's family had been somewhat ridiculous to be killed off one by one.

Chucky chickened out. He had already determined that the shadow was probably an evil spirit or demon, but why was an evil spirit watching him?
Were those humans not easier to deal with?
The situation remained deadlocked for a moment.
Until Chucky heard the sounds of a man and woman playing around upstairs. Unable to restrain himself, he tried to get up again.
Diana moved out of the shadows and appeared before Chucky, pressing a claw onto his head. If he moved even once more, his head would be crushed.
Chucky wisely played dead and did not move.
Upstairs.
Jennifer was playing a game with Li Dan. She was blindfolded and playing hide-and-seek, but no matter where she hid, Li Dan always found her.
"I'm tired. Let's play again tomorrow, baby~"
Jennifer whispered into his ear, her breath fragrant.
Li Dan smiled.
"I might have something to do tomorrow."
"Then I definitely can't let you go today."
"What are you thinking? I'm planning to go to school tomorrow. I'll be back soon."
"Still no."
Jennifer was bold and passionate. She hooked a leg around Li Dan's waist and would not let him leave.
Li Dan did not refuse. After all, Jennifer had already celebrated her eighteenth birthday, and no one was home to disturb them today.
Li Dan had originally planned to do it himself, but Jennifer insisted on taking matters into her own hands.
