Li Dan woke amid tightness and moisture. More accurately, it had woken before Li Dan did. He glanced at the lovely weather, then at Jennifer. She really was such a greedy little glutton.

Li Dan was already sitting in the living room, eating the breakfast Jennifer fed him herself while reading the newly updated novel.

This author seemed to really enjoy posting standalone chapters.

Today, he posted another author's note, saying that he had found a whole box of videotapes in the attic last night, all containing footage of murders.

He had also discovered a family of five, but only four had been killed.

Allison finally added that after watching the tapes, he suddenly heard footsteps upstairs. But when he went up to the attic to investigate, the footsteps vanished again.
