"Father! Father! Brother Goku is here!" Upa shouted excitedly, turning his head and yelling toward the small hut.
"Oh? It's Goku!" Upa's father—Bora, a man as massive and sturdy as a small mountain—stepped out of the house upon hearing the commotion.
When Bora saw Son Goku's pitiful state, covered in wounds and barely able to stand, his bronze face immediately showed surprise and concern. He asked in a booming voice, "What happened to you, kid? You look seriously hurt... Who did this to you?"

"I... I got beaten up bad by a really strong villain!" Son Goku gave a dry laugh, scratching his head sheepishly, only to wince in pain as it aggravated his rib injuries.
"Is that so? To hurt a kid like you this badly... that guy must be no ordinary threat." Bora's face turned serious, his thick brows furrowing deeply.
"That's why I came here," Son Goku said, his eyes growing determined again. He looked up at the towering peak of the tower and grinned. "I want Master Korin to help me get stronger! I have to become more powerful!"
"But... with injuries this severe, you can barely stand. How are you going to climb Korin Tower?" Bora watched Goku's unsteady form, his face full of worry.
"It's fine!" Son Goku seemed confident, turning to glance at Yajirobe, who was curiously looking around. He smiled. "Yajirobe can take me up."
"What did you say?!" Yajirobe, who had been wondering if there was any good food around, froze in shock. His round face showed disbelief as he pointed at his own nose. "Me? Carry you up this tower that stretches out of sight? Goku, have you lost your mind?"
"Yajirobe can definitely climb it. I believe in you!" Son Goku gave Yajirobe a trusting smile, his tone firm.
"Don't mess with me, kid!" Yajirobe glared at Goku, hands on his hips, thinking he was daydreaming.
"There's something tasty at the top." Son Goku blinked, lowering his voice to a mysterious, tempting tone.
"What? Tasty stuff?" Yajirobe's ears perked up instantly, his round eyes gleaming with interest, but then he looked at Goku suspiciously. "Don't lie to me! What good food could be on top of this desolate mountain tower?"
"It's true. It's called a Senzu Bean." Son Goku nodded seriously. "It's a really magical bean."
"Senzu Bean... what a weird name." Yajirobe muttered doubtfully, then looked up again at Korin Tower, which seemed to pierce the sky. He couldn't help but gasp, sighing, "But... this tower... it's so tall! How long would it take to climb?"
"Haha, you're a lot like Broly—both love to eat." Son Goku laughed heartily at Yajirobe's conflicted yet tempted expression, only to aggravate his internal injuries and start coughing violently.
Next, with Bora's help, Yajirobe reluctantly and grumblingly hoisted Son Goku onto his back.
Bora used his immense strength to toss them upward a good distance, saving them some initial energy.
Then, Yajirobe began his long and grueling climb.
Gritting his teeth, Yajirobe used all four limbs, moving like a nimble fat ball, struggling upward on the smooth, steep tower walls.
Sweat quickly soaked his clothes, and his heavy panting echoed clearly in the silent high altitude.
He had no idea how long he'd been climbing—it felt like an eternity.
Yajirobe felt like his arms and legs were no longer his own.
Just as Yajirobe was about to give up and curse Goku for being a liar, the outline of the tower's top platform finally appeared before his eyes!
"Hey! Goku! Is that it? Is that the top?!" Yajirobe used his last bit of strength, shouting hoarsely with excitement, his voice filled with relieved joy.
"Zzz... zzz..."
In response, all he heard was the steady, deep breathing coming from his back.
At some point, Son Goku, exhausted and injured, had fallen asleep on his broad back!
"You bastard! You're pretty carefree, huh?! I'm killing myself carrying you up this tower, and you're asleep?! Wake up! We're at the top!" Yajirobe was furious, feeling like he'd been used as free labor and a moving bed. He was so mad he wanted to throw the guy off his back.
In the end, Yajirobe, still cursing, used his last ounce of strength to roll over, crashing heavily with Goku onto the flat floor of Korin Tower's top.
Yajirobe lay sprawled out like a starfish, gasping for air, his chest heaving violently, feeling like his lungs were about to burst. He couldn't move a single finger.
"Thanks, Yajirobe. You worked hard." Son Goku woke up from the fall, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and saw Yajirobe limp as a rag. He quickly thanked him sincerely.
"Anyone who can carry Goku up this tower must be quite a remarkable fellow."
An old, kind voice came from the side.
Master Korin—a white cat holding a wooden staff who could speak human language—was smiling at them, his face showing approval.
"Master Korin, long time no see." Son Goku got up from the ground, stretched his fully recovered body, and greeted Master Korin with a smile.
"Hey? Who's this guy?" Yajirobe propped himself up halfway, staring blankly at the talking white cat, his round face full of surprise and confusion.
"I came to..." Son Goku ignored Yajirobe's shock and turned to Master Korin, about to explain his purpose.
"You don't need to say it. I already know everything." Master Korin interrupted him with a smile, his squinting eyes gleaming with an all-knowing light.
"Huh? What do you know?" Son Goku was taken aback, a puzzled look on his face.
"Didn't King Piccolo give you a thorough beating?" Master Korin stroked his whiskers, speaking calmly.
"Huh? How do you know that?" Son Goku's mouth dropped open in surprise, his eyes wide.
"When I have nothing to do, I often use this water jar to observe what's happening below." Master Korin pointed with his staff at a large earthenware jar filled with clear water, a mysterious smile on his face.
"Huh? You can see from this high up?" Son Goku was even more astonished, leaning over to peer curiously into the jar, only to see his own silly reflection.
